our winter this year has been very strange.
it was very warm originally, then lots of snow... we had a really nice spell here, and now wham!
we're right in the middle of winter hell in the mountains, lol!

I'm in Toronto, and we got walloped pretty good.
Not as bad as the snowstorm of January 1999.
But it's annoying in a big metropolis, as everything is so close together, so driving and walking is ridiculous.

The temperature is about -5C right now. But once the sky clears: it'll be frigid again.
Too bad this storm was on my days off. Damn.
i have always found the topic of blood/hematology, fascinating, and even moreso, the discussions regarding: rh compatibility.. are you rh negative?
if so, do you know your alpha designation: o, a, b, or ab ?.
even if someone is not interested, nor willing to take a blood transfusion, if you are a woman, and you are rh negative, and your husband/partner is rh positive, you can bet your bottom dollar, it'll matter in the near future.

I think these stories are not so few and far between.
I remember one of our members (Rosalyn) posted something (I'll go look for it), about the society's brief discussion with regards to rhogam.
Sentinel: honestly, you would have been fine with a child.
If you were O- and your partner was O+, there is a chance that there could have been problems with the child, IF it were O+, as the rh factor in the baby's system, would trigger an immune reaction in your body. Mind you, the first child will be OK, but the next children (if they were Rh +) would be in grave danger.

i have this guy hassling me on ebay, saying i misrepresented a brand new guitar i sold him.
he reported me to paypal, etc., after one day of me not contacting me, i was away.
other than giving me bad feedback, does this jerk with buyers remorse (the guitar retails new for $2100 us, he bought it for $1195) have any other recourse against me?

As for some oddities, I have found myself more often than not, undergoing unusual tests. Especially with regards to vaccinations, innoculations and other injections.
My body simply would NOT take to it.
It inspired me to e-mail/write to some pharmaceutical companies here in Canada, asking them the possible 'whys' that their product may not work on rh negative people, or if it was even tested on rh negative people.
I'd get more silence and being passed from one lab tech to another who did not have a clue what I was talking about.
Ugh!
Finally one lab tech said: "talk to you doctor".
Even he couldn't tell me. He thought it was a 'good question', but that was about it.

Avishai, there are some people you couldn't please, no matter what.
I have ventured into the ebay Members forum, and there are great comments from a wide variety of ebayers.
I have seen some nasty stuff happen, and actually, well...there are bellyachers everywhere.
Keep your e-mail correspondence; go to the ebay Members forum and share what you're comfortable with, as you'd be surprised at some of the sound advice these ebayers can give you.
Personally, even when I've purchased items off of ebay, even if someone has 1 negative, chances are if you read their feedback history, the person complaining or griping, has quite the 'reputation'.
