  Help! I'm on a different computer

  i have tried to post on my other computer and i can log on and type but it won't show up!

  i incorrectly removed some stuff off my computer and now i cannot post.

  any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

  It happens on some computers; the lithium battery that regulates the 'real time' on your computer (any computer) can fail.
  
  So, in the bottom right hand corner you may see the time; it may seem 'off', and if you hover your cursor/mouse over it, it may show a date that is AGES AGO!
  
  THAT can prevent you from posting, or allowing things to show up.

  Just a suggestion. Even if the battery that regulates the time fails, you can hover over the time and do the: Change date and time settings
  
  I've had that happen to me, and it was so obvious, I missed it. So, when I find there's some odd anomoly, I hover over the date and sure enough, it will hiccup periodically and I'll see:
  
  December 31, 2006. I just change it, and presto! it works. Good luck red dot.

  as i've mentioned in a previous post, my wife has been sending mixed signals to me for years on what she does concerning violating jw rules.

  what i didn't mention at the time was that she has also gone through gung ho sprees from time to time.

  she is now insisting on taking the kids to the hall.

  Coming back here once in a blue moon, there'll be a post or thread that will catch my eye. This one certainly did. The follow-up messages are great, supportive and informative.

  Forums like this, are certainly helpful and come from people who KNOW! the JW mindset in all its complexities. We should be grateful that it exists, regardless of its friends and enemies.

  My only hope is that this person gets the information necessary to combat this 'temporary insanity'; or long term insanity depending upon how long this activity continues. If anything, it's the children that really suffer; as I have seen from the follow-up posts and stories. So heartbreaking.

  Nice to see such enthusiastic support.

  Yes, something free is difficult at best to 'give away'. I should've put a price on it: SOLD!
  
  (its_me!) - the questions were ridiculous. The book would have to be reviewed; discussed and a few other processes, which I had no time for.

  FHN: hey you! Nice to see you too; yes it's been awhile. I hardly if ever pop-in or even lurk. Hope all is well with you.

  Hopefully, someone will snag this non-dog earred copy. If it can help someone make that important decision: I'll be very happy!

  COC in public libraries

  i haven't researched this but do library have copies of this book?

  did you ever look for coc or any other book in a local library when you were a believer or when you began to have doubts?

  how hard is it to find this book in a public library?.
