  Glad to hear all is well.

  Just one note there Ms. Aztec, Toronto Maple Leafs are 1 point ahead of the Detroit Red Wings .

  Aztec, glad to read you are well. Play the lottery, win some money and spoil you and your son rotten.

  If the Wings win the cup this year, I'll wear a DRW jersey for 24 hours. IF we win, you have to wear blue and white, and send paper boats of 'Congratulations' across the Detroit River to Windsor , Ontario. I'll have someone I know in Windsor be on the other side to pick them up. (hehee)

  Oh yeah, and I'll drink Vernors instead of Canada Dry; eat Cabana potato chips instead of Lays......if your Wings cheat and win Lord Stanley's beer mug.

  jesus is called a "mighty god" in the bible.

  Hey StarScream...glad you got some of the sarcasm (humour), but without getting into it, I personally do not believe any of the bible.

  For those that do and feel the need to discuss scripture, this is a pretty good place to share without any inhibitions.

  Right now, the only book I believe in is: Macrame for Dummies

  Why Not Just Let It Go?

  i have read many posts old and new and can't help but wonder why many of you just don't let it go?

  Cult alley

  i have lived in the san diego area all my life and i have to say i can't imagine a place that has more cults.. this one street, melrose, which runs through a northern san diego city where i lived for years had virtually every cult you could think of in a one mile stretch including mormo and jw.. we also have a proliferation of ufo and cosmic cults.

  we have this one whore of babylon, ruth norman, who is always on public access and operates out of east san diego.

  just looking at her makes me want to puke.

  Hey StarScream, how's it going? Yeah, the concentration of cults in some areas must have some people in some areas really scratching their heads.

  Raelians, I know they have some sort of outlet up here where I am. I just keep hearing that song by Alice Cooper from "Flush The Fashion": CLONES

  In Canada, some areas have a heavier concentration of cults than others; some areas have a heavier concentration of Jehovah's Witnesses than others.

  We have a few real 'out there' cults, and I'm sure some that are so esoteric, that NO one knows who they are and that they even exist.

  No worries, no need to offer Moulhie an apology.

  Your post was interesting, got me to thinking about who or what may be in my neighbourhood.

  THEN...a post out of left field had nothing to do with the question you asked.

  oh dear you people are really filled with hate, the jws are "evil" are they?.

  i think evil is a bit over the top dont you, jahs people may be many things but noy quite that i am afraid, how about loving, compasionate, caring and steadfast in their belief of the truth?..

  is it any wonder jws are warned and understandably cautious of you when statements like these abound, lets expose them you cry and then wonder why they view sites like this as part of satans body.

  let's use the example of fornication.

  you have been disfellowshipped for this sin and now you want to seek reinstatement.

  Am I ever glad that I didn't even attempt to become: reinstated.

  I remember my meeting with the elders back in the spring of 1984. It was held, not at the Kingdom Hall (but I met them there) but in an elder's basement home. I can remember it fairly clearly. So much of it, I blocked out, but I do remember wanting to get it over and done with real quick, and I answered their questions: Yes/No.

  We'll assume I was disfellowshipped.

  To think of what one has to do to become reinstated: thank goodness I didn't even consider it after I left.

  Scares me to even think about it (I paused for a moment, really).

  I like it right here, with you folks.

  Every post and precious shared piece of information, continually validates my exit from long ago.
