  I feel weird sharing this but figure it might help me to get some feedback

  we had a wonderful time at ants graduation but of course my dysfunctional (no not jws just dyfunctional )sis the one i speak to, had to call to tell my mother who had progressed alzheimers, lymphoma and has had a stroke had broke her hip and that during or after surgery she had a major heart attack.

  for my i am perplexed as to why this isn't a blessing, for two years i mourned the loss of my mother.

  she has had fewer and fewer lucid moments the last year or so.

  Sheila sorry to hear of your mom, but I believe your doing the right thing. To put yourself into the hands of your tragedy loving family, I don't see why anyone would want to subject themselves to that kind of environment. I've been there in my life in other circumstances with my jw family, and I choose to stay away from something that will only bring me down. Some people love to feed on misery.

  I've never met you, but from your posts and Thunder's posts, I know you are a very loving family, and your doing the right thing.

  That's awful.

  My question is why would a loving God allow you to come so far as to give birth to a child (a gift from God supposedly) and then have to refuse medical treatment and watch it die. Thank's God for the gift but I'm not going to take care of it attitude. Sheesh

  Dubs are so blind and stupid.

  i was 15, quite old compared to some.. a friends child has just got baptised at 13.....to think that she knows what she wants for the rest of her life at that age seems ludicrous.. so, who here got baptised at the youngest age?.

  on september 8, 1963 my sister, carmen elizabeth was born.. she was, and would remain the only girl in our family.

  she was so adorable, brown haired, brown eyed and had a great smile.

  she was less than a year younger than i, and we were like the 'best of pals' as kids.. she'd allow me to put beans in her ears, or get her to put peas in her nose or carrots on top of her teeth, and make me laugh.. she was born in cape breton, nova scotia.

  hello to everyone of you on this forum.
