No, we don't shun people, as for cars, the church founder rides a bike to his hangout spots, so that issue hasn't come up yet, I wear a goatee and the members usually wear all black, ala gothic style.
And yes, I do try to meet chicks by saying "I worship Uranus".
Gets me slapped most of the time, but when I explain it to a girl, she chuckles and thinks it's cute.

when you were getting fed up with meetings before you gave up, was there anything you did to deliberately get on the brothers nerves?.
i turned up to a meeting once with jeans on, and a red top with cccp on it with the 'hammer and sickle'.
i also went to another bs group a few times so that if i wasnt at one group they'd think i was at the other and vice versa.

Dubbie parents do have a tendancy to do that.
As for what I did to piss off the witlesses, I wore my flame printed shirt to meeting with a tie with my skull rings.

So I called the number. The guy told me that how the job included me going door to door selling magazines to people who may be irate. I told him as a joke "I used to be a Jehovah's Witness, I know how to do that by nature." He asked me if I were disfellowshipped. I told him no, how I left because of doctrinal issues.
A red flag went up. I later found out that this guy's a JW. He explained the job to me. I was to travel from city to city selling magazines. (I told myself "Hey, I can go from town to town meeting new girls while making money." Typical male ideas and behaviors.) And then he told me I probably left because I wanted to do what I wanted to do, and how the troof saved him. (Anybody associated with the 2 by 2's will tell you how they use the same tactics to get members back.) and how I should come back before armageddon, and how that job may not be for me because most of his employees also bring girls to their hotels, and they smoke pot in the hotel rooms. I just sat there and pretended to listen to him, just because I wanted to take the job up in the near future.
Anyways, I thought I could post that experience here.
I find it odd how creative days are thought of in nice, round numbers ending in zero when the people that wrote the Genesis account probably used a numerical system based on 12ths, the ones that the Babylonians used.

That's another reason why I left. I simply couldn't fathom the idea of a real worldwide flood existing. Maybe it was an allegorical legend from a large, local flood.

Just make sure to not dress gothic in the summer. The black clothes get HOT!.
As for community college, I never really thought about it, lol. I always used to think it was "Evil". (I remember hearing the evils of college when I was a little boy.)
BTW, do you know of any XJW support groups in Minnesota? Minneapolis/Saint Paul area especially. I'm taking a trip to MN next week to forget about the crap of the WT.
