How can it be a win win for him? He leaves office in 2009. He can't get another term. If anything, another invasion would hurt the next republican candidate.

Is Bush Missing the Real Danger ?- Homeland Security
by flipper inhello folks.
since 9/11 it seems a lot of focus has been on the iraq war and lately there have been quotes of president bush saying that terrorism in iraq is what needs to be concentrated on.
well, last night on the late night show " coast to coast ", col. john alexander a weapons and military expert was talking about our governments ignoring dangerous happenings in our own back yard.

He was showing the proper way to throw a football in that picture. You know, a football. One of those things that you throw around when you're playing a real man's sport.

And yet, none of the 7 previous posts ever discussed anything about charging the true war criminals with war crimes. That goes to show you, the left doesn't give a flying (edited) about human rights, all they're concerned about is sticking it to the white Christian establishment.

Jehovahs or Yawehs name ,JW's got it right?
by wozadummy inok i'll admit i just posted this to get rid of obve topic being stuck on the first page....but while i'm here i have'nt seen an explanation given here for whether the jw's are correct in putting gods name back into the old testament.. i just thought some here could voice their opinions on this for the benefit of new ones reading topics on this site.. as for me ,it does puzzle me as to why all versions of the old testament don't have it in all 6000 odd places ,seems to me people here could be seen as ignoring the hard questions if good reasons are'nt given to oppose the standard jw stand ,if indeed that needs to be done?

Yes. Cubans vote R because the Democratic party is soft on the Cuban governent. If you only knew how bad it was in Cuba, you wouldn't be so quick to put them in a good light. Castro gets what he deserves and the more pressure we put on him and his government, the better.

And BTW, your question also begs another question. If Cuba is really that great, why can't Cubans travel to the U.S. or any other country that is in disagreement with Cuban political ideals?

To me, this is the most likely reason. In the US, small but fanatical groups can wield disproportionate polical power (this was built into the constitution on purpose, to protect the interests of minorities). There is a large Cuban-American population in Florida that absolutely hates Fidel Castro. Many of these people have reason to hate Castro -- they were rich landowners or businessmen who had their property
seizedstolen during the Cuban revolution in the late 50's, and some have had family members imprisoned or tortured. These people will automatically vote against anyone who displays any sympathy with Cuba. I have heard that if this bloc had voted against Clinton in Clinton's first run for president, then he would have lost Florida. And if Clinton had lost the electoral votes of Florida, then he would have lost the election. Because most people in the US don't care about Cuba (or even know much about it), it is easier for the politicians to appease this bloc and avoid making them angry.Class warfare.
