There are also some in the bible.
Deut
- 23:2
- A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the LORD.
- 1 Kings 14:10
- Therefore, behold, I will bring evil upon the house of Jeroboam, and will cut off from Jeroboam him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel, and will take away the remnant of the house of Jeroboam, as a man taketh away dung, till it be all gone.

Our Granddaughter and Her Wife Made History Today
by Swan inour granddaughter and her wife made history today by being among the first 3022 official gay marriages to take place in the good ol' us of a. there are no more marriages currently being issued in oregon, but the ones that have taken placed are legitimate, binding, and recognized by the state of oregon.
in the interim the legislature has to come up with a law to make more of these marriages official.
i sure am proud to live in such a progressive state.

As a libertarian Republican, I hereby announce that I disagree violently with Bush' decision to make the government responsible for validating a private contract between two consenting adults.
I disagree enough that if the Democrats hadn't picked no-show Kerry; Bush might have lost my vote over this.
I'm seriously considering throwing my vote to Nader in protest.
If you're going to do that, at least don't throw it to Nader, try going for Browne this year. I know if there's a lopsided vote in my state, I'm voting for him this year.

I've been admitted to a mental institution and I haven't seen anything as nuts as this. The only thing that comes this close is that JW woman that coughed out demons that posessed her.

Do Jehovah's Witnesses Have the Only True Religion
by Theocrat inwhether you're a doubter or another agitator, just look at what the bible says: .
1- jesus started one true christian religion.
after the christian arrangement had been established for some time, the apostle paul under inspiration further showed at ephesians 4:4, 5 that there must be just one body, or group, of true worshipers of god.

Oh damn, this is too good not to bite!
Friend, the Lord's work is SERIOUS BUSINESS. Jesus wasted no time exposing the crooked religious leaders of his day or warning against the disease of apostasy that would creep into the Christian congregation. He ate with sinners that knew no better. But once properly evangelized, Christians were told to, "keep this same mental attitude" and to keep putting on the "new personality".

Partisan - Good or Bad?
by Amazing1914 inare you partisan?
and if so, does that make you an uneducated, narrow-minded, polarizing idiot?
can we test this theory?.

1. Are you strongly in favor of vanilla or chockolate flavors or like both or don't care?
Neiter. They're both bland. Now sour apple, there's a flavor!
2. Do you have strong feelings about what colors you wear, or like all colors or it doesn't matter?
I'm gothic, what does that tell you?
3. Do you support or oppose the Death penalty for some crimes, or does it make any difference?
I support the DP only for seriously heinous crimes and serial murders. I don't support it for simple rapes, 2nd degree murders, etc. And even then, it should be used sparingly.
4. Do you agree with Blair & UK fighting in Iraq, or should they leave, or you don't give a damn?
I'm not British so I can't give a comment on that. But as an American, I'm glad to see that there's another country that's willing to give that tyrant the boot instead of worrying about what it's "Muslim neighbors" would think.
5. Do you support or oppose Watchtower policy on shielding pedophiles - or does it matter?
I'm here, what does that say?
6. Do you vote Liberal, Conservative, the candidate or issues, or see voting as a big waste of time?
I vote fiscally center right and socially center left and militarially hawkish.
7. Does taking a stand mean you're a partisan idiot that should have your mouth taped shut?
Depending on what you're standing for, yes.
OR ... is Partisan a label, like Apostate, which people use to avoid calm, honest, open debate because they are too damn lazy to use their brains beyond making stereo-typical labels?
At times, yes.
