If I were you, I would go to Randy Watters website, www.freeminds.org, scroll down to "How I helped my family leave the WT." There is a wealth of information on how to plant ideas without arousing too much suspicion.
Under present circumstances, I recommend not having children until this situation is resolved. My children grew up in a divided household (I was the JW) and it was really hard on them, not to mention my husband.

what i open up in the paper this morning.. 244 worshippers die at saudi pilgrimage.

"all precautions were taken to prevent such an incident, but this is god's will.
When my unbelieving parents died, I was happy that they died before the big "A" - so pathetic.

I once lived down the street from someone who left their outside lights up for two whole years and turned them on every night. It was kind of fun to see the Christmas lights when it was 105 F outside.

I have 2 mini-schnauzers. We got Pete, 7 yrs, from a pet store and whoever cropped his ears really butchered them. Then we got Penny, soon to be 6, from a private breeder, and had a specialist do her ears, which are beautiful, but I don't think I would ever crop another dog's ears. Pete is over-sized, but he loves to sit on my lap - all 28 lbs of him!
when people hear the name jehovah, they automatically think jehovah witnesses.
i know that in old catholic bibles, the word jehovah might be found or jahweh.
is it the jw's who came out with that name first or did other religions use it before the jw's?
I have heard the name Jehovah used a couple of times in the two years I have been attending my non-denominational Christian church. In the charismatic church I attended before, for about 3 years, I also heard the name used on several occasions.
It still jolts me to hear someone in church use the name Jehovah.
I remember seeing a movie, when I was a little girl, and the captain of the ship calling on the "great god, Jehovah!" (maybe it was Moby Dick? I haven't seen the movie or read the book in eons) So I think that the name was used occasionally in Protestant churches, after the Reformation.

I voted in my first election in '96. It is very gratifying to know that you have had some part in choosing your officials, local or national, even if the candidate you voted for loses.
It was somewhat frightening, the first time, but Jehover didn't strike me dead!

i was thinking earlier today, and a weatherman and a jehovhahs witness is kinda similar.
they both try to predict the future.
for instance, the weatherman gives the 5 day forecast....but by the 3rd day, the chances of the weather actually being what they said is around 13% (give or take a few) and the 5th day shouldn't really even be listened to because the chances of accuracy are slim to none.. so lets look at the jehovahs' witnesses.
IMHO, weathermen are 100% more accurate than the WT.

i have always found the topic of blood/hematology, fascinating, and even moreso, the discussions regarding: rh compatibility.. are you rh negative?
if so, do you know your alpha designation: o, a, b, or ab ?.
even if someone is not interested, nor willing to take a blood transfusion, if you are a woman, and you are rh negative, and your husband/partner is rh positive, you can bet your bottom dollar, it'll matter in the near future.
A- married to O+. Never had any problems. Out of 4 children, #3, a daughter, is A- married to another A-, so they won't have to worry about any type of incompatibility.
They came out with the Rhogam shots when I was pregnant with #4, of course, like a good little dub I didn't take it, but we already had plans for my unbelieving husband to have a vasectomy.
Now I am a blood donor - my final rebellion against the bOrg. As I understand it, they are running short of women who never had the Rhogam shot, and if I have it right, they need us to make the Rhogam. I'm not quite clear on this, so I should probably look into it.
