  when i discover gaps in science, it's easy for me, as a temporary measure to fill in the gaps with god.

  i do this until i have learnt something new.. what about you?

  All I know is what I know. I do not claim to know how an aeroplane is designed, because I did not design it. Man was created with the power to think, learn, and apply what he has learned. This is obvious by all that man has created. However, man has only touched on the surface off all that is in existence. Man has designed his own creations based upon what he has discovered already in existence. All of the elements that exist in the universe are interactive and are also repellant. You mix the wrongs elements together, and you might develop something that is very harmful, which has already been accomplished. The years upon the earth have been a learning experience for man. An intelligent being created a planet in which humans could survive. All with perfect accuracy. Any slip in design and we all perish. Simple logic tells us that a being way higher in intelligence designed it.......

  Adamah, do you think with your heart or your mind? Thinking ability begins with the mind, however emotion can overrule your thinking ability. Emotion stems from the heart of course. Which is better to have, great thinking ability, or control over your emotions?

  Being a submissive wife does not mean that you have to tolerate abuse. A man is not a man until he proves that he is one. I am assuming that he does not practice what the bible says, but instead just follows his own selfish desires. A Godly man would take on his responsibilities as the head of the household and love his wife and children immensely. There is nothing you can do if he chooses not to be with you. Let his own actions judge him, for it is written, we shall be judged according to our deeds. Do you still have faith in God or has that disappeared from your life? Perhaps it is time to seek out a new husband, one that is willing to love you and your children.

  Huh? God of the gaps? Is this some type of new religion? Not really, I am familiar with the thinking......Seems to me that people who choose to follow this are realists and lack a bit of faith. All I need to do is look at the intelligent design behind all creation. That proves to me that their exists an immense being with the knowledge great enough to create life. Biological beings all with similar design......that is just amazing don't you think? Science is just the discovery of what GOD already knows, nothing more, nothing less.......

  You can read what the bible says and form an opinion on your own. However, we are commanded not to judge, so it is best to refrain from passing judgment on anyone.....PERIOD.

  But, the other books say they are inspired by god. How do you make the decision that they don't warrant your time if you don't read them and investigate? How do you know the bible is inspired? [comatose]

  The wisdom you find in the bible cannot derive from man. Aside from the fact that the bible foretells the future, which can be related to historic events, makes it even more obvious that it is inspired. I have not come across any book that claims to be inspired by GOD. I only take interest in books that can increase my knowledge of GOD, and also those that I need to increase my knowledge for my everyday life.

  i finally came to the realization that i am ugly.

  i'm 28 years old and never had a girlfriend.

  women pay me absolutely no attention when i'm in public.

  Well, do your best to groom yourself in an appropriate manner and conduct yourself in a good manner. At times personality shines through appearance to some people that are not so much into appearance. I myself consider myself to be average in appearance and I do my best to maintain my body. I will not pursue a female that I feel is too attractive because I would feel intimidated by her. Do you expect to get a beautiful women if you are less than attractive, or do you go after those that might be considered not so attractive? I know a guy that looks at slim females and makes fun of those that are heavier. He is heavy himself so how can he put down others that are just like him? It makes no sense to me. I feel he is being hypocritical.....
