Tell us something we don't know

about yourself.... my pc is in my bedroom.

i do, in fact, have a pc in each room connected by a lan, but this is my pc and this is my very comfortable corner where i like to chill out, play mutliplayer games over ther internet, and of course post numerous fluff posts at jwd.

just by me is a window which, until last week, looked out on some beautiful trees.

wow, the brain thing....well, what can I say? I had NO idea there were people like you Valis.

I have a PC in the little area next to my bedroom too, used to be a nursery now it is a tiny office.

All the trees are gold and red here in Montana. Looks great really. I am making a cake for my daughters birthday this week. It is tiered like a wedding cake but I spray painted the stilts metallic gold. The cake is going to be frosted in black with jack o lanterns all over it and the very top of it will have 12 long orange tapers. Sounds fun eh. Then friday we are taking her to see the production of Bizets Carmen. I love birthdays now, especially when they are flavored with a pagan holiday!

on beyondjehovahswitnesses.com, did you pose as "snoozy", write a few posts to which you signed her name and have to apologize to tim?.

i just wondered what sort of person you really are.. you may not choose to answer this question, (for obvious reasons).. by the way, you are not a bad writer, a tad "flowery" in my opinion and you're not exactly nietzshce, but it obviously keeps you busy.

Actually, I have seen BB get rather rough at times too. Now I do not know about the situation with Kelsey's son or if BB was involved or not. I find BB very funny most of the times. He can be refreshing to read cus his posts are short and often very comical. I do like him a lot. But again, I've seen him get nasty too. We are all human and are not always so great. Ask Jan, I was just horrible to her one time. I do not think I was wrong really, but she certainly wasn't either and I sure got full of myself when I felt she need ME to put her down. I still feel bad about it when I remember it. Lesson learned is that we are all unkind at times. We swear we never will be again and then oops there's a slip up.

I am sorry for you son Kelsey. It must be difficult to watch him struggle right now. I can imagine how I would feel if it were mine. I really do not think you need to explain yourself. If you know you have legitimate reasons for doing something or not doing something and someone is attacking you for it, let them have their damn day. I would think it would be more draining to have to explain myself when under such pressure from my real day to day life. This is the internet, let it go. Your real life is more important.

Kenpo, Dragon...gosh I actually know your real name and do you know if we were to meet in person I'd still call you Kenpo or Dragon, lol....I am so sorry you were hurt. I still don' t think it was deserved. ( I did understand your points on the SL issue really I did but I still felt that the WTS needed the bashing...negative and angry or not, that's all. Your way was likely right but I didn't disagree with the way it was done either, that was all I was saying) Maybe with some time, it will fade away do ya think? And I totally disagree that you have "followers", I take offense to that. But you do have some friends. People who care about you. I happen to care about them all so the whole thing was painful to read. That's why I stepped away for a little while. I still love them all.

because some christians thought it was fine to mingle christianity with paganism.

gawd you mean it is going on here too?

Thought I had a place to go. You know, I loved the BJW board. I love the people there. I found so many that were very supportive to me when I truly needed it. I just can't bare to be there right now to see the fighting. Things are not good here right now and it always served as such a great distraction.

The reason I think you left that board kenpo and not this one is because, this is my feeling, is that the attacks there were much more personal because of how close we all became. I may be wrong in assuming so. I think it is sad that it has to keep going.

Gosh I am sorry for what Snoozy is going through but the post attacks she sort of brought on herself and I can't help but feel that way. When will it end? I may check in with them next month to see if the bickering and mud slinging is gone. I sure hope so because they are all such good folks really, just sort of stuck on something at this time. I am sure I will miss them all. If it starts here too, I'll just have to take to playing some cards to distract myself during this time.

Hope you are well. And I am comfortable enough to admit to you dragon that I have not read all of your postings. I have a short attention span and it was not personal. :0)

What show scared you as a kid?

posting on wtlies thread i got to thinking about the shows i watched as a kid.

there were a couple that scared the &*^% out of me.

the old twilight zone where the little demon guy was on the airplane wing was really scary.

I don't recall what they were called individually but me and my brother would stay up on friday nights, pray that the folks wouldn't watch Johnny Carson so that we could see "the outter limits" and then right afterwards, "creature feature"

Unfortunatly Creature Feature was often some stupid "creature of the black lagoon" and they must have made seven or eight of those and they just weren't scary after the first one. Ah well, anyone remember the outter limits when the astronaut breaks the time warp or something and his wife got caught in it too and they are moving thousands of times faster than their surroundings? Was a cool one. I must have been like 9 then. It didn't scare me but it was cool. A lot of the other ones scared me though.

Where is the man who loved Jehovah so much?

i have to explain why i say this, why i miss the man who loved god so much.

when i met my husband he was only 18 yrs old, and so deligent to serve jehovah.

we were both so much alike, we loved our god, but also deep down, loved what the world had to offer.

I loved reading that too. Things will only get better for you both. Maybe you weren't on the same page for awhile but you've never lost touch. It will even out.

years ago i had a friend tell me that he hated sushi.

he said that it tasted terrible, and it made him sick.

he then went into, how eating something that is raw is terrible for you and is a risk to your health.

In regards to what Jim said, Faith is definitely what is needed for any belief. I feel that no one can knock me for my belief in reincarnation since they can't prove that I am wrong any more than I can prove that I am right. To be honest, I'm not so sure that I am right, but I have my "feelings"
I've heard it said that faith itself can be damning. Hmmmmmm

Phallic Symbols

this morning as i was waiting for my ride into work, i was looking at the trees in my neighborhood.

i don't know what kind of trees they are, but some look like steeples.

i remembered how we were taught that church steeples were like phallic symbols pointing up into jehovah's nose.
