LisaVegas, I don't even say *anything* about the JWs on my fb. I *might* say something political, but I've * always * done that. He blocked me right after his DC. This is clearly the result of the DC. I mean, after hearing the talks about how to treat disfellowshipped ones --even family members, and human apostates, he couldn't resist. His brain must have gone into drone mode. That's just too bad. I think he's an MS too, something he would never have become here in the US congregations. The need is so great for any brother overseas that they'll take *anyone*. Proof? His dad is an MS, also. And they're both giving talks.

I'm happy to be able to vent here, and receive support from those who understand. It is sad, but in the end, it is okay. Not everyonevvalues their relationships. This is a life-long lesson I am learning. He is not the first, nor will he be the last to drop me when the goibg gets rough. I always manage to survive. And even better, Ialways manage to come out on top.
I declare, life is good! Noone is taking that away from me!

Here's my problem with it, too-- fb was how the girls stayed in contact with their dad's side of the family. Now, poof! That's gone. N more pics of their grandkids bc he blocked me. Ohhhh how dumb! Senseless, truly. Such a loss for everyone. Just goes to show that true love does not exist ambgst the Witnesses. They are definitely a true witness of that!

It's pathetic! I'm truly shocked by it! Not even my "spiritual mother" has cut me off on FB. she even sent me a messa g e when a loved one passed recently. Others who know I'm df'd have kept me on as well. The block was unnecessary. But I guess his faith is that weak. Just sad.

I fed this kid, clothed this kid,exercised with this kid, picked him up and dropped him off at work, gave him a place to call home...and an unceremonious block. No goodbye. No thank you. What a series of convoluted articles! They mention old-old light, which i wasn't even aware of bc I came in under newer light, thereby confusing the heck out of me. Then They say that new light is new when in fact it's always been the established light ( if there is such a thing.) Then, there is a complete upheaval of teachings, "new light" , that is baseless. Did I get all of the convoluted mess right? Anyways, I need to read the articles again for a better understanding of the nonsense being taught.

it was the national headquarters for the jehovah's witnesses for 30 years.. but the 7.5ha wattle downs property has now been sold to elim church and could soon house a new christian college.. jehovah's witness minister george gray says advances in technology mean the property is no longer needed for running the church's new zealand and south pacific activities which will now be administered from australia.. elim church bought the property for its growing south auckland congregation and volunteers helped transform the site in just a matter of days.. pastor boyd ratnaraja says the congregation moved in on a sunday straight after morning services at their much smaller weymouth rd premises.. "they have done a superb job of setting up," he says.. the church will hold services for its 450-strong congregation at its new home as well as running counselling sessions and operating an op shop and a weekly soup kitchen.. "we believe in reaching out to the community.

i don't have to say anything against the watchtower, there's sufficient flip-flops in the wt to make one cringe!!
so what i did was, opened a fb, went to a jw forum, added as many jw's as i could, and opened up a fb page that just posts quotes from the very first watchtowers.

I just want a divorce!
by bornfree123 inhi there, this is my first post, but i've been buzzing around this site for years.. i got married at 18, hubby was 20, i was a regular pioneer and we were talking about serving in bethel.
fast forward - i left in 2004 after a 5 year battle with my conscience, family and friends who kept insisting that i was just "weak and needed to have another bible study".
however hubby and i stayed together although it was kinda on the understanding that we would just not talk about it.
