My struggle in leaving WTBTS - What is yours- if you want to share?
by Junebuggie inmy struggle- my journey finding salvationoctober 16, 2013 at 8:03pm"anyone who believes in the son of god has this testimony: god has given us eternal life, and this life is in his son.
he who has the son has life; he who does not have the son of god does not have life.
i write these things to you who believe in the name of the son of god so that you may know that you have eternal life.

Yes! Welcome!
I feel like JWN is a hard place to be when you're a person that still has faith and believes in God.

Participating on Assembly Programs and meetings... the hypocritical things that go on
by confusedandalone ini was thinking the other day about how i use to marvel at the idea of being on a ca or do program!
when i was starting to get myself together so to speak i wanted to be one of those guys always giving the powerful talk to shut the assembly down.
the one talk every spoke about in the car ride home.

Are JW's scared of visiting apostate websites?
by yadda yadda 2 ini believe they are.
i think it's their biggest fear besides dying at armageddon.. there's a saying that anyone who reads ray franz's books is never the same again.
i think many jw's secretly know that there is information out there that would almost certaintly seriously damage their truth in their religion, and they are terrified of it.. they would rather keep their heads firmly stuck in the sand than even take a peek at critical information that might begin a slippery slope leading to the collapse of their unique worldview.. jw doing their version of the islam prayer:.

Visiting apostate sites and reading apostate literature is the direct equivalent of speaking to Satan himself. Yeah, i was very very scared.

No Reading,PA conventions this year
by jdubsnub inhope this isnt a repost.
i tried to search a little but didn't see this anywhere.
does anybody know where the philadelphia region of witnesses are going to be sent to this year?

the size of the venue varies year by year.
Honestly, Reading, PA SUCKS for a convention... sorry PA people, but it's the truth.
So does Richmond, VA... old and just gross
The best site for a convention-- Wilkes-Barre, PA. The arena is clean and modern. That was a HUGE arena, too-- lots of JWs everywhere

The reason behind why the ex-JW community can never match Jehovah's Witnesses' success.
by Stand for Pure Worship inan average of five kingdom halls being constructed daily, almost 8 million brothers and sisters, dissemination of bible literature in 595 languages, 111,795 congregations worldwide, distribution of 179 million bibles available in 116 languages, 239 countries where jehovah's witnesses have a presence, etc.. need i go on?.
on the other hand........... crisis of conscience, freeminds, the awaa, jw.net, ummmmmm........hmmm........idk six screens or something?
not exactly working out for you guys.

"Literature" produced by the Watchtower is founded on a bed of lies and deceit.
Are you proud of that?
I'll take the truth found in .... Crisis of Concience, JWN, jwfacts........ any time.

The GENERATION explanation is now a BOLD FACE LIE
by scotoma inwhen i first heard about the new "generation" explanation i was confused because i didn't see clearly how they were explaining it.. now it looks like they finally figured it out for themselves and it is no longer confusing.. it is now a simple, ignorant, bold face lie.. this is from the january 1st watchtower.
(and i hope to hell someone from writing gets wind of this).
paragraph 15 page 31 blue stands for the exact words in the watchtower.

Do theyseriously consider themselves students of the Bible? You cant even consider their doctrine a sort of theology.

That's great El Guapo! Next time I bump into JWs preaching, I won't beat around the bush. I'll hit them right in their own dump-- just like you did :-)
