Elders harassing me

hi everyone, it has been a while since i've last updated!

(refer to my previous posts for the full story) here is a quick re-cap: 2 months ago my mother found out that i am living with my boyfriend, she told me i was discovered by an "anonymous" tipper who turned me in for "living in sin".. first of all, that is nearly impossible, the congregation i was in is 100's of miles away from where i currently live.. no one would have ever known i was living with my boyfriend unless i told them, which i never did, i cut off all communication with that congregation in part of my attempted fade which was blown into pieces and discovered.. anyways, my mom tells me if i don't go to the elders and confess like a good little sheep, then she is obligated to tell them.. ( don't see why, i don't even live under her roof ) well i never went to them because why should i?

so they met with my mother and she told them i live with my boyfriend... let me remind you, this was two months ago.. i was told i was going to be df'd and that was that.

As we expected. They will DF you whether you respond or not. You have a chance to mitigate that if you get a lawyer to send them a cease and desist type of letter. But as far as this has proceeded even that is doubtful.

Stuff we told you 2 months ago.

If you don't care whether they DF you, ignore them. Or tell them to eff off, and your little dog too, I mean your mother.

Welcome! The only advice I have is to lose, as fast as you can, the loaded and meaningless JW language, including words like spiritual and truth.

When you do you will find your path forward much easier.

I came here three years ago for support and to make friends

this site is such a great and valuable resource and simon is to be commended for running it for so long.

when i first came i was in such a bad state and really needed support and friendship.

so many posters commented on my threads and showed genuine care some are real life friends, some are facebook friends, some i talk to on the phone and some are forum friends.. i have just realised though that everyone online is not your friend.

You've always led with your heart. That is both endearing and frustrating. Your courage to lock wits with Cofty on a repeated basis has my admiration. That you do so while maintaining composure suggests you have more emotional intelligence than you give yourself credit.

Your reasons for being on the site are typical and much more common than mine, which is a big reason I at times come across as an arrogant, uncaring ass.

I left the cult over 20 years ago and immediately immersed myself in much more important pursuits, such as raising my beautiful brats, going to college, Forrest Gumping my way to excellent adventure, traveling, and THE most important one: spending time with a wide variety of hot girls with big, um, well you know, in short skirts.

It wasn't until 3 years ago I had anything to do with the cult, and that was when I joined this site.

I'm arrogant enough to think I have something positive to share. That's it. If I sometimes seem to lack the depth of feeling for the broken, the misfits and the perpetual victims coming out of the Dark Tower, that is much of the reason why.

That, and sometimes I'm just an ass.

Possible Military Coup in Turkey!

if this does turn out to be the case it could have very serious implications.... turkey hovers between western freedom and democracy and an islamic hell.

europe has been bending over backwards to keep turkey on-side and promising it fast-tracked entry to the eu in return for it's cooperation in controlling mass migration from the east.. the situation is unclear at the moment but there are tanks on the streets....

2 things.

1. Erdogan is using democray to create a personal kingdom along the same lines as every other Arab and Islamic dictator the past 50 years. That 700M $ palace he is building for himself replete with gold plumbing is more like Baghdad, Riyadh, Damascus and those in Egypt and Libya under Mubarik and Khadafi than Bonn, Paris, London and Washington DC.

He has no intention of leaving it. And like Saddams final years his rule is becoming more Islamist by the day. The word democracy is loosely applied to Erdogan

2. What we have found out about Gulen the last few days suggests US intelligence has been monitoring his every email, phone call, text and conversation for a long time. He would be a treasure trove of intel. The 2 way communications between him and whomever in Turkey or anywhere else would be gold and make up for a lack of human intel on the ground, which is always the major and critical gap for Intel collection. No intel agency would pass up such an opportunity.
