Authorities say the suspect – a man in his 70s who was not identified – was taken into custody outside the Valley Park elementary school. The FBI says it is assisting in the investigation. The suspect fired at people using a shotgun, Overland Park police said, and there is no indication that he knew his victims. Authorities are investigating the possibility that the shootings were a hate crime and said the suspect was not known to police until today.

Prologos, excellent point and exactly what I was thinking when I read this year old post. They are the wolves and those they seek to bring into a JC or mark or remove are the sheep who have been skinned and thrown about. They can cloak it the other way all they wish but it will not change the reaiity of what they are doing - which is following the Borg's leadership from the Death Star (ok I know I'm combining metahphors from two different sci-fi series, but it fits). I was an elder and by the time I was finished with the Borg, that is exactly how I viewed things. We were the wolves.

The slightly annoying part of this is that Snow is a kinder gentler version of Rev. Tammy. The really annoying part of this is that she runs out of posts she posts so often. How many boring ass theist posts droning on and on about the same thing can one possibly post? Evidently a whole helluva lot. Adding nothing to any post other than the cyber Kingdom Hall post-Dub theist mantras, which apparently serves a huge purpose to most of the ex-Dubs on this site. And the really really annoying part of this is the cyber freaking Kingdom Hall this appears to be, where ex-JW and theist crap, I mean subjects, are discussed ad-nauseum. But the really, really, really annoying part of this is when they enter non-theist posts with the same mantras.
But this site is what it is. I'm the one with the problem it seems. I will stay with my 1.2 posts per day, trying to get the ex-Dubs to learn to think rationally and analytically, supporting gays and those who want to masturbate and welcoming new ones.

Nice post. Thanks. I'm not a humanist, but that's why there are humanists. I won't say I wasn't angry. I was. Very. But, being the rational minded person that I am who learned a long time ago to take personal responsibility for things I caused, I realized the anger should be at myself (and maybe parents for exposing me to the cult) for being deluded. I used that knowledge and the anger as fuel. Jet fuel. I still do some 20 years later.

Other than trying to understand how/why I allowed the Borg to control me, and the ensuring search for my own understanding (but NOT to find a replacement), none of the others apply. I hit the ground running. With a plan and a vision. And determination that success and happiness are the greatest 'revenge.' And I haven't looked back (except to wonder how I ever got involved in this nasty cult in the first place)>
I believe those who turn to this site - and then stay on it for years by doing nothing more than making this site their cyber kingdom hall where they discuss and angst about all things Borgian - are stuck somewhere in the continuum you describe, Terry. That's why I avoided such sites for 2 decades and spent the time living and learning. I would recommend my 'template' to everyone.
