As a tip to the others who may be having difficulties with the file, I produced it with Windows Movie Maker version 2 (the latest brand-new release.)

As such, you may need to upgrade your version of Windows Media Player on your system, as it has a .wmv extension, and is proprietary to Microsoft. Windows Media Player 9, which is just brand new, is available now for download if you do a "Windows Update" or go to their site. Just a suggestion! I hope you all enjoyed it!

A Few Thoughts On Barred Posters.

there are posters that are naturally disruptive and attacking in their behaviour, and after a while their departure is greeted with relief by most folk here.

we've all had experience of people like that.. my biggest concern is for the poster who is simply amazingly volatile, yet is actually a big-hearted person beneath all of the bravado.

i think of them as "garbage mouths", because they just can not contain themselves, especially when they have had a few drinks or the adrenaline is running on high.. maybe it would be a good idea, if, rather than actually barring someone, they were to receive a compulsory "time-out" period, say of 7days or so.

And as much as I had run-ins with them, I miss Jan Haugland, Kent Steinhaug, Mommy Dark, and many many more. These people had great moments on this board, too. And, great posts.

I'll toss my hat in with Englishman's idea.

i am a catholic woman who is marrying a jw.....i have posted on this subject alone extensively on the adults and disagreements board so that is not really what i want to discuss here..question is about blood.. my daughter from a previous marriage is type a+ and her father lives 2 states away....now my fiance the jw has the same type blood as her as i do not..i am o+ .....so can a jw donate blood in case of emergency?.

can a jw give blood for testing.....in case of illness or whatever?.

Awesome question. I remember reading on Rado Vleugel's site, Lee Elder has the reprints of the new card that were all but released, then withdrawn for some (unknown) reason...my guess is that it hit 2/3 majority and then a GB power-tripping member changed his vote reducing the majority below two-thirds, thereby nullifying the previous policy change vote. I can surmise this because of the information provided in Ray Franz's publications. The beaurocracy in the GB is ridiculous.

W5 last night.Hour long.JW,s and child abuse

did anyone watch w5 last night on cbc at 9 pm?(canada).

it was another hour long program of child abuse vicitms and the watchtower society.. it looked very very bad .

bill bowen was on.. it was a very powerful program.. .

Good news!!! Shortly, Simon will have the program made available here (on the low-bandwidth version)!

And, it's good to see some were able to get the files of Kazaa, too, that's good...if we have a few hundred sharing, everybody will get a crack at downloading it and be able to watch it!

And, hawkaw mentioned there is a repeat tonight!!! If memory serves me correctly, there will be 2 more repeats, as well.

O.K.! I just got home today, and am happy to see at least some people are uploading the Fifth Estate files -- good work! I switched my Kazaa program earlier today, hopefully that solved the previous problem.

BTW, all you others, I re-installed the latest version of Kazaa, and the files show that they are being shared...try again today!
