I just shared with my mum the scandals of the WTS
by m0nk3y init was really hard for me to do.
i have been out of the borg for a few years now and have pulled my life together and i'm really happy.
but my mum and her husband are disfellowshiped and the jw's have caused mum great pain .. she has tried the best she can to follow the wts direction .. but as we all know its impossible.

But my mum and her husband are disfellowshiped and the JW's have caused mum great pain .. she has tried the best she can to follow the WTS direction .. but as we all know its impossible. So I felt really angry as I was telling her the stuff that I have found out here, it was really difficult for me I guess because I know that she beleives it is the truth although she has doubts about the people in general (gossipy bunch of nutters) its still believable to her .. I didnt want to look as if I'm trying to take her faith from her .. but I want her to know the real truth. Can you guys help me to gather some of the strongest evidence about the WTS being wrong? m0nk3y

Describe Your Spirituality
by minimus inmost witnesses believe that if you leave the "truth" as taught by jehovah's witnesses, you lose your spirituality.
i know some here that do not believe in god.
others are somewhat agnostic.

I'd have to say I'm way more spiritual now that I'm an X-JW .. I personally feel we are all connected to everything and we should take notice of those little signs in our day to day life that we are doing things in a harmonious way with our fellow man/animals/planet. I don't know of anyone that could say that treating people/animals/planet with love and respect without judgment is harmful or wrong.
And the bests parts of my Spirituality is that I have a relationship with it .. my works produces love in my direction.
How much longer is it going to be before people realise that you can't please god/people/religious groups/etc. But you can get loving and complete fufillment from pleasing yourself.
2 simple rules to my spirituality ... 1) Don't hurt yourself physically/mentally. 2) Don't hurt others physically/mentally.

Cult alley
by starScream ini have lived in the san diego area all my life and i have to say i can't imagine a place that has more cults.. this one street, melrose, which runs through a northern san diego city where i lived for years had virtually every cult you could think of in a one mile stretch including mormo and jw.. we also have a proliferation of ufo and cosmic cults.
we have this one whore of babylon, ruth norman, who is always on public access and operates out of east san diego.
just looking at her makes me want to puke.
