midway through we get a call that their grandmother (the real one, who was never a dub and who hasn't ever turned her back on the kids or on me even thru my divorce from her son, unlike my own jw mother) is in serious condition at the hospital.

we spent one of our 'vacation' days sitting in a hospital icu waiting room, timing our 15 minute visits so that we could see her, and throughout it all the kids were troopers.

I'm very sorry .. life can be tremedously hard at times, words cannot even decribe, but you and your family are in all of our thoughts. My heart feels swollen and heavy for you all. The Convention/My life.

so i'll drive up there this next coming sunday, stressed to the eyeballs with all the traffic, making wrong turns, panicking when the traffic gets too heavy in central london, wondering if i'm following the right turns, stopping and looking at my a-z, wishing my family we're still with me.

Yet again I haven't bothered to read the rest of the replys to your thread scoobs .. but heres a bit of advice for ya .. grab a same sex partner and go like there aint no tomorrow .. and keep going and keep going .. there isn't such a thing as tomorrow until it's today .. so just enjoy today. Im not sure if your a boi or a grrl but either way .. when your in the throws of passion or just chilling watching tv in their arms .. the rest will fall away and you will wonder why it was such a big deal in the first place.

The Bible Code

i was in a book store today and there were a couple of books entitled somthing like "the bible code" .

the idea goes that the bible is written a certain code that when decoded reveals prophcies about things like the twin towers and that kind of thing.

The Present UN division over Iraq will be healed after the war by the creation of the Image of the UN Beast, which image is an expanded UN Security council with 10 Permanent Members with reduced veto powers. This will occur on July 25th - 27th 2003, 666 BLC days after 911.
As of March 17th 2003, the 48 hour deadline declaration for Saddam, the Beast of Revelation 17 "was but is not and yet will be present". It was the 8th King but is not the 8th king yet will be present as the 8th king along with the image which exercises its authority, when this image appears.
The Image of the Beast, being an image of a 10 horned and 7 headed beast, itself has 10 horns and 7 heads. These are 10 months of power and 7 months of headship, making a total of 17 months of power and headship before it hands over to the UN Beast. So the image comes into existence in 2003Tammuz (2 July - 1 August 2003), the 17 months are 2003Ab to 2004Chislev inclusive. The General Assembly controlled UN beast takes over in 2004Chislev and gets 42 months of authority to act, which run from 2004Tebbeth to 2008Sivan The 10 diadems on the 10 horns are the 10 kings of Revelation 17 in the case of the image of the beast.

Sounds very WTBS ish to me, I wonder if they are XJW's.

A question for the ladies?????

i have noticed that when the ladies post pictures of "hunks" these guys have no body hair.

when i was a gymnast many of the guys would cut their hair real short and shave their chests and stomachs and oil them to get a better, more defined look.

i always thought chest hair was "manly" so i never did it.

what kind of an example are we setting for young witness girls regarding modesty?

i personally think she looks nice, although maybe she should try for some darker colors; but because of her jw affiliation, it justs makes one stagger at the double standards.

Actually I agree partially with SwordOfJah, we will find any stupid thing to point out the double standards of the JW's because basically they are one hundred million double standards that have been sewn up to make a stupid cult .. HOW EASY IS IT ?!?!

Actually I have seen quite a few sisters dress like this at the conventions and assemblies. On another note I think she looks effing stunning.

for the last 20 years of my association with the jws, i was, more or less, a hypocrite.

they taught things i didn't believe, but i went to the meetings and, by my presence there and by my "non-answers" i in essence supported something that i didn't believe.. it's a hard thing to say "i was a hypocrite.".

ok all you computer geeks um, geniuses.

next weekend, steve and i along with another apostate from arizona, will be riding our bikes in a two day, two hundred mile ride from seattle to portland, oregon.

i thought it would be kind of fun to have an apostate logo we could print on sticker paper and attach to our helmets and/or rider numbers to bug any dubbies who may be riding too.
