on bank holiday monday just gone, a dear kind older couple in the cong decided to take me and my good lady out for a slap up meal, to try to cheer us up after the recent upheaval in our life.

somehow i ended up with the bill.. anyway, this was the local italian trattoria were we often go, and are on first names terms with the staff and quite a few of the other regulars.

i think we should let amazon know that promoting the abuse of young children is as bad as abusing them yourself.

Can I point out to you guys that not all forms of Pedophilia are bad or wrong, let me explain. Pedophilia is determined by the age of consent, if the boy/girl is under the age of consent and the adult is a certain age over the age of consent it is considered Pedophilia. There in lies the problem. Here in Australia the age of consent was 21 until just recently (It has now been adjusted to hetrosexual age of consent, (16) Yes that's right .. in most countries our age of consent is completely different to yours.) So by that law if I was 19 or 20 and I slept with someone of the ages of 22 or 23 up it would have been seen as Pedophilia. That in itself is rediculous, rediculous to the fact that the older party could be sent to jail for consential sex.

There needs to be put in place ONE age of consent, and anyone breaking that law is liable. The reason so many people get their nickers in a knot is because they lack the information on the issue. People say Pedophilia and imediately think of an old man forcing sex onto a 6 year old when that simple isn't always the case. If we change the legal system to work properly we can save alot time. REAL Pedophiles will be able to be convicted to the full extent of the law and people in my position will be left alone.

PS Why is the concept of a woman taking advantage of a young school boy (around 12-14) ok when it clearly wouldn't be ok for a man to take advantage of a girl or boy of the same age ? I can smell a huge double standard .. a standard that has been put in place by men. Everyone start to take notice to shows on tv as far as this is concerned, I was shocked that it actually is seen as quite comical and acceptable for a woman to take advantage of a younger boy.

Oh good lord archangel01 .. you can't be serious ?! Women look great with long hair and some women look fantastic with short hair. Now thats a know fact in history. If you like long hair on women that's fine .. but don't cast your thoughts into everyone elses mouth.

By the way .. is your hair long ? We wouldn't want you following mans way instead of gods.

i'm not really that scientifically minded in space matters and stuff so i was hoping some of the smarter people on this forum could comment.

how many light years basically are the stars we can actually see from earth ?

i would like to know if anyone here ever tested the water when it came to dabbling in spiritism and then were "bothered" by demons later on.

the wts would write articles about how using ouija boards would be asking for trouble.

I think I have a very high awareness of things that aren't quite on our plane of existence, somtimes it scares me. I tell you one thing though .. messing with ouija boards is silliness, you are plain and simply opening a door and inviting anyone who chooses to come through. It could go good or bad .. I would prefer to not take any chances.

Demons is a rather ralative term though .. demon as a word could be used to describe somebody thats died that is quite evil in nature.

Theres alot more out there than we know about.

Thanks guys .. Inquiry I was aware of those facts you said .. My words just aren't coming out to well today .. must have somthing to do with the full moon and Mars being close hehhe.

How many light years basically are the stars we can actually see from earth ? From memory I thought some of the ones we can see were a few billion light years away or somthing. ( how blonde do I sound at the moment )

So doesnt that alone prove that the Earth and Universe is more than just a few thousands years old ?

Yes I have seen this kind of thing quite often it's sad, although I have to say that being stuburn isn't a bad thing really. Some types of behaviour can be found common in groups of people .. so in that right I don't find it offensive. It really comes down to what is being said.

Example : Gays carry AIDS/HIV - as opposed to - Gays have great fashion sense. Both is a generalisation and doesn't fit any group of people. I guess we are in a point of life where everyone is grouped and labeled. Kinda boring.
