when i was in it, especially as a young person, it was rules oriented but not like it is now.
to me, the religion is a lot more fanatical than ever before....what do you think?

Boy things have changed since the 80's. And what was said the noose is getting tighter. Why, because their getting found out about all the lies they've told. Since I was baptized they have changed the meaning of so many beliefs it's hard to keep up with them all. Phizzy's right they changed the beliefs several times, and I mean several times.

They are not mental, they know exactly what their doing. They are very good at what they do LIE. Lies after lies you have to have your head on to be able to tell all those lies. Their interest is keeping things going. Why, so they can have the things they have such as insurance, cars, a place to live and food. Who could ask for more. Oh yeah and money, all the money they want is theirs. So they can't be mental to have all that at hand.

It doesn't surprise me one bit that they'll let them go at a drop of the hat. They eat them up then spit them out when their done using them. What a sad thing to do for people who don't get a pay check just money for their necessities. Big deal a few dollars for all the work they do, and not only that but all the money the WTBTS takes in and they can't give back to them, IT STINKS BIG TIME.
ive had many single sisters (even the hot ones that horny brothers like to circle around during intermissions at assemblies/conventions) come to me recently asking if im single, what my spiritual goals are and how high in the ranks i am.
i just tell them that im not interested in relationships at the moment and that my focus is on other things.
they usually get the message and leave me alone.. but i lie.. .

I'm glad to hear that you have a plan. And your probably right with how many sisters who are on the line of making a break from the Society. I wish there was a way to find out who they are for you. So right now you should put all your energy towards your plan to break free. Then once your free then you'll find the right girl for you. By then you won't have to be living the lie, you can finally be true to yourself.
i was thinking if i acted a little off but not too far off the elders would tell me i'm not welcome in the door to door work.

there is a watchtower or awake article somewhere saying that a mentally ill person may be excused from the meetings and field service if his illness affected others.

I enjoyed your post where you say you've developed a real concern for those in the organization. So have we, because they are so blinded by the teachings of the Society. We wish we could get them all to see the real truth about the organization and it's teachings. Because they are blinded they can only see what the Society wants them to see. Thanks for seeing it for what it really is a bunch of lies.
i'm not far away from sending out a bunch of letters to all the jw's who i knew when i was one.
the letters are the accumulation of the last few months of research etc.
i've put a lot of effort into wording things just right so that that the jw's don't instantly throw it in the trash.

Sorry to hear what your going through. Isn't it like when you become a witness you want them to become a witness so they can be saved. I know you want everybody to leave the organization, but thats impossible not everybody will change. Once they see your name they'll probably rip it up and call you an apostate. since a year i do not go to meetings and i unofficially stopped with the "truth".
i had a meeting with some elders expressing my concerns with the teachings and with the slave.

Sorry to hear of your loss of your mom and sister. And also your dad disowning you because you faded away. Sorry to hear about you and your wife. Drinking doesn't solve the problem even though it might numb it for awhile. Maybe things will change for you and her in the near future. As far as your kids being energetic it could be because their getting to much sugar. There are so many different forms of sugar, and they put them in almost everything we eat. Why even McDonalds puts sugar in their fries. Why so you'll keep coming back. If your not already eating healthy I would advise you to start as soon as you can. It's not really that expensive because I can whip up a cheap but inexpensive meal for me and my husband for just a few dollars and have leftovers too. That may help in some way or another. You also got some good advice from others on the forum so feel free to put them to use because you may find that they'll work. Don't ever feel that your a bother because your not. We love to hear about the experiences your having because there is sombody out there feeling the same. So keep busy maybe doing some research will take your mind off of your problems. So take care of yourself.
