Views on women priests.
by quellycatface inhaving an interesting time at the moment with my faith journey.
my hubs was confirmed a catholic and his views are no women priests because there weren't any in the bible.
hence, the absence in rc churches.. my mother is a jw.

Opposition to women priests is possibly the main thing that stopped me going eastern orthodox. Well, that and the silly hats.
Anyway... I can't imagine ever joining another religious community that thinks people like Jgnat have nothing/little to offer. Such a waste.

Considering a few hours ago you thought god should have destroyed the whole earth for killing his son, I find it odd that you now want a god less brutal then the one who destroyed a few cities.
You won't find a much less brutal god then this one:

I tend to think the best thing about atheism is that you no longer need to 'save' people or generally care about people's beliefs which is why I find a manual for creating atheists a weird concept.

District Assembly arrangements 2014.
by quellycatface inmy jw mother drives me nuts.
she lives in quite a cut-off part of the uk and this year, is expected to travel to hq (rugbyfans), aka twickenham.
she's great to make the trip, it's like a spiritual holiday for her.. i said i thought it ridiculous and unreasonable for the gb to expect people to travel that far and pay for accommodation near london.
