I remember someone suggesting that you should have dinner with Muslims at least 3 times before you make any pronouncements about them. Seems wise.

We are the American Indians of our day and, just like them, we are exploring all the ways we can to survive.
Oh my God this place has gone truly insane

Are there any doctrines which all Christian religions follow.
by jwfacts ini cannot think of a single doctrine that is so clearly laid out in the bible that every christian sect teaches the same point.
are there any doctrine where there is total consensus amongst all christian religions, including jehovah's witnesses?.

If God is gender-less, then it should be that both male and female could be assigned, particularly as creator female, would be more appropriate.
Well its not without its proof texts I.e. Deut. 32:18 “You forget the rock who begot you, unmindful of the God who gave birth to you”
Anyway, to get back to the OP, there are big doctrinal differences between mainstream Christian groups but many similarities, it's when we include the spin off Christian groups like the JWs that this exercise becomes difficult, but this is largely because many Christian cults intentionally reject mainstream Christian doctrine in order to separate themselves. It shouldn't be a surprise to find few similarities between groups that are trying to avoid similarities.

Every Country and Land... Except Oman
by ILoveTTATT2 inso the other day someone asked me what use was it to make the list of countries in which there have been reports.... well... to know that, as far as i can tell, there has never been preaching done in oman.. it has never appeared in any report, and the reports go back to 1926!.
all other countries and lands have appeared, but not oman.. so there... first useful fact about the watchtower that we can get from 90 years of data..

I pine for the days when Jersey and Guernsey were separate lands.
Do they list Cyprus as one land? I think they do.
Only one Cyprus listed but the population is equal only to the Greek side so I guess North Cyprus is part of Turkey statistics? I'm not sure even the Watchtower knows their system!

JWs don't believe God is male:
http://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/102008370
"Just as assigning human features to God is not to be understood literally, use of the masculine gender to describe God should not be taken literally. Gender distinction is unique to physical creatures and is a linguistic device that reflects the limitations of human language to capture fully the essence of Almighty God, Jehovah.
The Bible’s use of the designation “Father” helps us to understand that our Creator can be compared to a loving, protective, and caring human father. (Matthew 6:9) This does not mean that we are to view God, or even other spirit creatures in heaven, as being male or female. Gender, in the sense of sex, is not a characteristic of their nature."
Actually it is not at all uncommon to claim God is genderless and referred to as male for cultural purposes or whatever. I am not sure how this would cause the whole f**king mess to crash down?
That idea of vicarious punishment is at the heart of the Pauline version of the work of Jesus. I think that is the closest thing to an idea that is common to all christian denominations.
In fact, this is rejected by the orthodox Church, which represents a pretty significant number of Christians!

Free Speech - Jordan Peterson Debate Live 9:30 EST Saturday
by cofty inprofessor jordan peterson of the university of toronto will be streaming a live debate on his youtube channel on the topic of free speech and "bill c-16".. if you haven't heard (where have you been?
) peterson has been making waves by opposing the demands of pc "social justice warriors" at the u of t to use their chosen gender neutral pronouns.
in his judgement proposed "bill-c16" will make his non-compliance illegal - an egregious threat to free speech.. professor peterson is an intelligent and thoughtful academic who has found himself at the focus of attacks from the neo-marxists that are dominating the conversation at elite universities.

I have never referred to anybody as Ms in my life, I have also never referred to a man as Mx and never will.
I'm glad that we have heroes like Cofty around to stop us from those scary SJWs who want us to *gasp* be nice to people who aren't straight white men.
