I wish you well on your journey! Some people are happy as Witnesses. Do what's right for you and I applaud your honesty.

I wish you well on your journey! Some people are happy as Witnesses. Do what's right for you and I applaud your honesty.

ok i did the favourite 80's thing a while back........what about 70's?
now i was only a kid at the time, but some i can remember ....... the carpenters.......goodbye to love/yesterday once more .
bee-gees.....staying alive/ night fever.
Anything by the Gap band, Parliament Funkadelics and ABBA. I don't remember the 70's all that well cause I was just a little kid but, some of my favorite childhood memories are of playing with my parents records and record player. I can't imagine what some of their albums must be worth today, and they let little kids play with them. I guess my parents aren't that bad eh?

Yep, I watched it with some friends and then when we got cold we went inside and played euchre. It was a very clear, freezing night here in Motown.

another fluff special, i've been warned off the jw stuff, so here goes....... would have to be.... 1. jesus christ (just to watch from a distance).
2. aesop (i loved his fables when i was a kid, and still do).
3. my grandad (sentimental, but i never got to see him before i could say goodbye).
Janis Joplin, Josephine Baker and Salome.

i think i told ya'll that i started a new job as a small group leader (instructor) at the non-commissioned officer's academy here at ft jackson.
(i just can't get a ride to iraq or afghanistan no matter how hard i try...i'm stuck here for another two years...which the family likes).
anyway...i took my first class out to the field for a training exercise in which i evaluate them on the 13 common leader combat skills, stuff like "defend", "react to ambush", break contact", apply troop leading procedures" and other things that all sergeants first class should know.
We miss you too Yeru! Keep up the tough work!

I'm just laughing at some of these posts but, seriously, don't you think it takes some disfunction to function in this world? To be able to exist and live in this world is hard enough but to do so while confronted with the reality that so many are suffering and hurting is almost intolerable at times! It makes me very angry at times to think about those who are so much less fortunate than I. To deal with this anger is hard for me to do. I guess I have alot of unresolved issues as well but, think about what I said.
~Aztec *feeling introspective*
well i have been feeling a bit like crap lately.
work has been very stressful and my attempts to make new friends outside of the jw's have been mostly futile.
the people i work with are immature and are more interested in the latest office gossip and whose doing what than anything else.

Your username is apt! I know we haven't always gotten along perfectly but, I know how you feel. What helps me, especially at this time of year, is listening to upbeat music and talking on the phone with people that care about me. Take good care of yourself, you're no use to anyone if you haven't put the time into making sure that YOU are okay. I wish you much love and happiness!

Sane people are no fun. I think to survive in this world you have to have some sort of mental problem, otherwise, wouldn't we all be out in the streets protesting what's happened in Liberia? To deal with the strange and sometimes crazy world we live in you have to have some sort of emotional block. I know I do.
