gadget missed out on all the fun.. blondie, i read your thread about the tornado, yes.....we probably experienced the same weather system you had there, here.. two pretty nasty tornadoes touched down just west of kitchener-waterloo.
Hah! I have you all beat! I drove through a tornado just last weekend! I saw a storm North of me and I went into it anyway thinking that it was just rain. When I got home my mom told me I had just driven through a tornado area. I've grown up in this stuff sooooooo I can handle it...LOL! @ all you wussies!

You don't like snow? Not a problem! We only get snow once every year or two... or three. Winters are mild and are usually in the 40's and 50's. The temp only falls below freezing very briefly when a cold front passes through... then it quickly returns to normal.
See? That sounds good but what about the Summer? Doesn't it get ridiculously hot? I like the no state income tax idea.

lots of really great people live there like Xena for instance. 2 The Bush family is from there (it doesnt get much better than that :)) and 3 they say that EVERYTHING is really big in Texas

Bavman, I like what Kevin Smith said in 'Dogma'. I don't have an exact quote but it was about beleifs vs. ideas. Ideas are a good thing because they are open ended. Beliefs are too strict and tend to be dogmatic. "I believe this and I'll force it down your throat until you agree". Therefore, I don't really believe anything anymore. I have ideas about things but I'll keep them to myself.
