how many people that come to this board are faders only?
i am interested to know the statistics on how many people have left the borg because they have discovered their untruths or become disillusioned.. thanks,.
not just one you have seen - or even researched since leaving.
but the oldest one you recall studying when you 'got the truth' or as a child?.
i remember "let god be true" - 'babylon the great has fallen'- and 'paradise restored - paradise regained' [the big orangish/pink book - hope i got the name right] - all 50's early 60's books.
the exact day, lost in a memory that was unconcerned with the details of the moment, is unimportant.
what is important is that three years ago -- in may of 2002 -- i left the jws.
it was at the end of the month, for i realized soon afterword that this would be the first month since becoming a publisher that i did not turn in my time.
i just thought i'td be neet to get a poll of how many people on this board are still meeting attending, time reporting publishers, who believe the wts is all crap?.
thank you for your inquiries regarding the barbara anderson vs. watchtower tennessee appellate court hearing, which took place on thursday, april 14, 2005. accompanied by steve and joy imhof, from panama city beach, florida, and our attorney, jerre hood, from winchester, tennessee, we drove to nashville to attend the 1:00 p.m. scheduled appellate hearing.
this hearing was requested last year by defendants in the case, and they are: the numerous corporations of watchtower bible and tract society; watchtower spokespersons, j. r. brown, and david semonian, and certain elders of the manchester, tn congregation of jws.
Been away from my computer for a few days and only now have read your update. Sounds like things are moving along. I wish you and Joe the best in your fight against Watchtower
looks like it is time to remind the flock that jwd is deathdealing.
this week service meetings are recycling old kingdom ministry articles regarding the danger of electronic communication such as the internet and email.. .
like i heard at a recent circuit assembly, "don't let your mouse turn you into a rat!".
the may 2005 km (us branch version) is a bunch of tripe.. in the first article, jehovah's day is near, the writers are feeding the r&f more gloom-and-doom-the-end-is-near.
the 3rd family article is family schedule-family field service.
the 4th family article is family schedule-the family study.
I got that Km last night and could not believe what I was reading as well.
First, they never learn their lesson. STill trying to predict what will come. NOTHING that they have ever predicted has ever come true. But they will not give up.
Second, that schedule for the family is incredible. Talk about trying to control every aspect of your life. What's next? Will they schedule a time for the bathroom?
