Hi Shootest,
What is your story? Love to hear it.

my brother is a self proclaimed apostate.
i see now that there is a wide variety of posters here.
so to those that have left the witnesses what would it take to get you back?
I didin't leave Jehovah at all. In fact my faith is stronger now than it ever was. The problem with most Jws is that they equate God with Watchtower. it's not the same thing. As time goes on I find the watchtower society to be apostate. When an organization tells me that I have to give "implicit trust and loyalty to the faithful slave",that is apostasy. Does not the Bible tell us not to put trust in men?
So to your question is there any hope of you coming back to Jehovah? Well, I never left Jehovah.

i have been talking to some friends of mine both in and out of the "cult".
and the one thing that no one can come up with is how many of the socalled 144,000 are left, i would estamate there to be atleast 145,000 still kicking today.
if any one out there know's of a number and not the number put in the watchtower, i mean realy do you belive all you read.
I heard recently from a dub that the number of "genuine" anointed is much less the the 8000+. Someone from the ivory towers told her that it could be as low as 4000.

i've been grappling with going to my very good friend's brother's funeral in a nearby hall where everyone knows me.
if i go to the service it is only to show respect to my friend and the relatives (some are jws, some not).
my friend said that if i didn't go, he would understand but i'm torn.
I think that you should go. Your friend will appreciate it and you will feel good too.

if you have been following anything about my situation (likely not), i have been baptised for 20 years.
my profile (as of today) says:i have committed no immorality.
i have only stopped believing that the christian congregation of jehovah's witnesses represents the interests of god in any way.
If you have been following anything about my situation (likely not),
