Wannaexit is descriptive of the overwhelming sensation i felt when I started to figure things out back in 2002. I wanted to exit so bad. My avatar is describes the sadness I felt when I realized how I had wasted greater portion of my life. By the time I truly understood, I had pioneered for almost 2 decades and was almost childless.

let's review what we've learned from the Jeremiah book so far
by nowwhat? inok group, we have learned:.
a. working more to provide for ones family is tantamount to worshipping false gods!.
b. do'nt have children because one day you might have to eat them!.

....and if you are offered a scholarship for a university education at age 15 don't accept it. But become a missionary instead in some remote island, then you can translate some of the society's publications. (page 108 par12)
If you are a parent make sure that your kids do worse than you did. A parent should not say"I want my child to have an easier life". if a parent wishes his child a better life than it would demonstrate that he/she is seeking "great things". (pag 109 par 13)

Going to the territory you live in - in your area?
by A question inhow emphasized was it to go to the congregation that you lived in the territory of?
how many did so?.

It depends on what station one holds in the pecking order. Elders, pioneers and ministerial servants are often found outside their territory boundaries. Generally these are asked to "jump over to Macedonia" if a neighboring congregation is in greater need.
The rank and file are generally strongly encouraged to stay where they are assigned. If someone chooses to disobey and go to a congregation other than their assigned one, then that person is considered rebellious because theocratic order is put aside. Often priviledges such as carrying mikes, prayer etc. are withheld.

The Experts- Jehovahs Witnesses
by jean-luc picard ini was thinking this weekend of a brother i first met when i was a teenager.. not yet an elder, this brother was very outspoken, and was viewed a kind of hero to the r&f.. an inexperienced teen, i also believed ( influenced by others) that this guy was a godsend.. looking back, with the eyes of a more mature person, i now consider him an arrogant self opinionated bully.. he later became an elder and i might add that he also had an imposing physical appearance .
but he had no education.
no schooling.

Growing up in the borg, I too was brainwashed to think that jehovah's witnesses were always a notch above everybody else. After all we had divine education while everybody else had satan's education. And if one read the awake for 6 months , it was the equivalent of a college education.

At presentt he quota is 70 hours. But not many of these hours are genuinely arrived at. Most have devised creative way of counting time.
I started out pioneering when the quota was 100 hours for regular pioneers and 75 for auxillary pioneering (previously known as vacation pioneering)
This is what my yearly schedule looked like since the age of 14:
age 14- vacationed pioneered 3 months.
age 15- vacationed pioneered 3 months.
age 16 -vacationed pioneered 3 months.
age 16- vacationed pioneered 3 months
age 17- vacationed pioneered 3 months
age18-32 -regulared pioneered, 100 hours in the early years and then 90.
What a waste- I think I'm going to a corner and cry.

What was the recent change made regarding baptisms?
by Witness My Fury injust saw a post by splash on the commision transcript thread: (pasted below).
we had a talk at our hall recently, basically saying that there have been lots of letters written to the uk branch, questioning and complaining about a new change introduced for the baptisms at the sad and ca.. the talk did not try to reason, it did not try to explain.. the talk was "do as you are told, don't question what you are told".. we were told to do as the song instructs us "listen, obey and be blessed".. we were told that this change was from jehovah so keep up with his chariot.. i think this talk was given in quite a few locations around the country.. what was that all about please?.
