  Do current JWs like to have Bible discussions?

  this is how one remains a jw.. i decided to start a new thread to discuss this, since i didn't want to veer completely off the topic of the original thread.. i can relate to what rufus said - not concerning my wife, but other close jw family members.

  This is absolutely the truth. Jehovah's witnesses don't want to talk about anything of a spiritual nature. Bring something biblical up and they become mute and appear visibly uncomfortable.  I try it all the time and I get no where.

  Question about the HLC and medical records

  the hlc was established after i left the jws.

  here in canada, the hlc was piloted back in the early 70s and that is when i had a personal encounter with the men in white shirts and shiny black shoes who took away my right to make medical decisions.. i am not very familiar with the internal doings of the hlc, other than that they hold the jw patient's life in their hands.. when the hospital liaison committee becomes involved in a jw patient's health care, what type of information is sent to the watchtower headquarters, and does the watchtower society receive copies of the patient's medical records?

  if so, does the society maintain a database/library of historical medical cases that the hlc has been involved in?

  I believe that there have been some changes to the HLC and a new body is in place. I would suggest that you contact the association of jehovah's witnesses for the reform on blood at  www.ajwrb.org

  I just read this to my husband and he wants to thank you for your forbearance in sitting through all of this.

  All I can say is that the gb is getting more and more deluded and I pity the poor rank and file that cling to every word they utter.

  Having one hell of a time trying to sign in

  i know we can expect hiccups during a changeover .

  i must have tried at least a dozen times , maybe even twenty before i got in , now i havent got a clue how i did it.. oh woe is me.. and when i do get in it doesnt remember me and i have to go through the whole process again , ggggrrrrr .. yesterday when i had this trouble i tried to re-register as smiddy2 and didnt realise it was apparently successful until today when i clicked on users .please delete smiddy2 as long as i can keep my original,.
