it is just repackaging of the same old stuff.seriously, we don't know if construction is halted for days, weeks, months, forever, or what.. we don't know if new kingdom halls will still go up, old kingdom halls will be closed and sold.
they have laid off bethelites before and they will lay them off some more.

this damning quote is found on page 1 of the september 2015 our kingdom ministry, the last sentence in the 3rd bullet point under the sub-heading how to do it.
this quote amounts to an implicit admission that the jw practice of mentioning the donation arrangement to householders at the door, makes them look like door to door salesmen.. why would "jehovah's organization" be engaging in a practice that is nothing more than a transparent attempt at undercover soliciting?

It may be for business territory, but the fact remains that botchtower hasn't pushed publishers to ask for donations at the doors in a long time.
It used to be that whenever a someone did a presentation at the hall, it would always be followed by the "if you would like to donate to the worldwide work, I am happy to accept a donation". Then it stopped.

Are the Governing Body broadcasts promoted at Kingdom Hall meetings?
by nicolaou ina question for those still attending i guess but are all these new jw.telemuppet.org broadcasts advertised to the the rank and file or is it more of a background thing?.
i'm wondering because i just can't believe my 70 year old die-hard jw mum would ever see them if she wasn't sat down in front of a screen and someone clicked 'play' for her.
i really want her to see the wizards behind the curtain.

One of the congregation in town had arranged to have the viewing at the kingdom hall once a month, but it was so poorly supported that it was stopped.
To my knowledge , its not really supported.

Extreme emotions re today's watchtower
by Tornintwo ini was supposed to attend the meeting today, one of my once a month duties for the sake of my family and my fade.
i read the wt and i just can't stomach going.... what this wt does is again and again reiterate that only jws will survive the coming destruction and that they should be happy about this and raise ourselves erect...eg:.
we cannot expect that many people will suddenly convert to true christianity.

I was at the meeting today. A lot of fear mongering going on. But I have to say that I was looking around during this watchtower study, to see the dubs expressions, and for the most part ,everyone seemed unruffled. Saw one sister, vigorously texting. I believe most tune this stuff out. Most looked uninterested and few put their hands up to comment. -
