Rules,
whenever someone asks me what I thought about a talk. I always throw the ball in their court: "And what did you like about the talk". Most often the person initiating doesn't really have any idea either because frankly, no one listens because subconsciously they block it out.

New blood card
by ExBethelitenowPIMA inall elders just got letters about this new blood card system .
“language-coordinating congregations will receive separate parcel(s) containing the revised durable power of attorney for health care (dpa-e) for all congregation(s) in their literature group.“.
my questions are - why the revision and what has been revised?.

PRP (platelets) injections, are they effective? Do they REALLY work?
by Fisherman insince health insurance doesn’t pay for prp injections, i am skeptical about it’s efficacy.
obviously if this treatment was necessary, it would be paid by health insurance.
don’t know much about prp except that the physician extracts blood from the patient and concentrates the platelets from the blood then injects the medicine into the affected site in the body to speed up healing of a torn ligament for example.. i saw an interesting statement in wt online site saying or implying that sub major components might be a personal decision and also using one’s own blood may be a personal decision, if i understood the information correctly..

PRP injections seemed to be a promising in patients with osteoarthritis, tendon and muscle injuries but the medical literature doesn't really support it and there is no solid evidence that PRP works any better than placebo. At least this is what I've learned from medical journals I've consulted.
Anecdotally, I heard someone at my place of work had a PRP injection in the knee. It was very painful and failed to give the person the pain relief hoped for.
As to whether the witnesses would accept this type of treatment, I would have to say no since this is an injection of whole blood.

Elder asks my disfellowshipped cousin to leave house while grieving for his grandmother
by RULES & REGULATIONS infourteen years ago i started a thread on how horrible my disfellowshipped cousin was treated after his mom passed away and the terrible actions on the part of the elders at the funeral home.. 67. horrible conduct by congregation elders at my cousin's funeral.............. well, here we are 14 years later, and things haven't changed!.
my aunt ( who is my disfellowshipped cousin's grandmother ) was placed in home hospice care.
the nurse told her daughters ( who are jehovah's witnesses and live with their mother ) that their mom probably has 2 days left to live and that they should call the immediate family.. my disfellowshipped cousin and his sister show up in the early morning.

I am so sorry for your loss Rules and I am so very, very sorry for the treatment your cousin is enduring. Please tell him that.
This is so utterly cold and and devoid of any humanity. And yet, David Gnam, lawyer for the Canadian branch told the Supreme Court of Canada that when it comes to dealing with disfellowshipped individuals "normal family relations continue". I wonder what this asshole idiot elder would say if someone pointed out what David Gnam said.

What Percentage of active JW's are on Anti-Depressants?
by Sea Breeze ini came across an xjw post on redditt from a rn.
she states that nearly every jw she ever treated was on anti-depressants or anti-psychotic drugs:.
https://www.reddit.com/r/exjw/comments/f35vaa/just_about_every_jw_i_come_across_is_on/ i once read somewhere that 1 in 5 jw's were on anti-depressants, but i couldn't find any documentation.

I think many are on some form of SSRI's. I personally worked with 2 CO's wives that touted the use and were on antidepressants themselves.

I am beginning to think that Morris was partially removed because he has "diarrhea of the mouth". He just openend his mouth and spewed whatever came to his head .
I remember on one earlier jw broadcast where he intimated that the past governing members didin't always do the right things. Probably no one else would dare to say such a thing. -

I don't spend a lot of time of exjw youtubers, but If I do , I will always watch something from EXJW Critical Thinker.
When I was waking up, he was a popular poster on this site. I even spoke with him a few times over the phone. JT and Lady C always have interesting content
There was also Fifth. Enjoyed his interviews but I haven't come across him in a very long time.
