  A part of me wants to believe its not sanctioned by watchtower, but then again they associated themselves with the UN behind everybody's back, including members of their own elite group.

  i am pleased to announce that i get to retain my bottom intact for the foreseeable future.. .

  milestone check-up just done.

  i had a stage 3, 4t anal canal cancer for which i underwent chemo and radiation this past spring.

  Crazy JW urban legend

  a sure guarantee that this was bogus (really, any reasoning is required at all?

  ) was that it did the rounds applied to john denver, annie lennox and others.. basically, they relied on satan (oh yes) for their musical ability (i knew it) and any jws in the audience would be asked to leave because ... (drum roll) ... they blocked the signal to satan so couldn't perform with them present!.

  anyone else remember that gem?.

  I remember the Denver rumour too. But I heard that he hated the witnesses so much that at one of his performances, he asked any jehovah's witness in the audience to leave.

  Growing up in a strict jw home, there wasn't much I could listen to--everything seemed to be coming from the devil. I remember a brother from the stage who said Paul Anka's "put your head on my shoulder" should never be sung or hummed because it encouraged immorality and if you were single it would encourage fornication.

  i conducted the wt study tonight on higher education.

  i wondered what the reaction of the bros and sis would be.

  there was no deviation from the idea that a university education is not a good idea.

  every week the same brothers and sisters are late getting to the meeting.

  Tim hooper those are so funny . I just about to walk across the street to borrow a valium from my centenarian neighbor- then I watched they video and I am all better now. :)

  tell us a little about yourself and your family.. im sixty years old, and i am a second generation jw.. were you a born in or a convert?.

  i was a born in.. are your parents / family jws?.

  my parents were both witnesses, as also was my oldest sister, though they are all now deceased.
