this damning quote is found on page 1 of the september 2015 our kingdom ministry, the last sentence in the 3rd bullet point under the sub-heading how to do it.
this quote amounts to an implicit admission that the jw practice of mentioning the donation arrangement to householders at the door, makes them look like door to door salesmen.. why would "jehovah's organization" be engaging in a practice that is nothing more than a transparent attempt at undercover soliciting?
It may be for business territory, but the fact remains that botchtower hasn't pushed publishers to ask for donations at the doors in a long time.
It used to be that whenever a someone did a presentation at the hall, it would always be followed by the "if you would like to donate to the worldwide work, I am happy to accept a donation". Then it stopped.
a question for those still attending i guess but are all these new jw.telemuppet.org broadcasts advertised to the the rank and file or is it more of a background thing?.

One of the congregation in town had arranged to have the viewing at the kingdom hall once a month, but it was so poorly supported that it was stopped.

I registered with an alias I use when commenting on youtube xjw channels.........Well I was blocked pretty fast. I sent an email asking why I was banned and the response was that they didin't feel that the forum was a good fit for me.
I realized that they googled the name and saw I was an ex. hehehehhe.
