  Scientology Documentary on ABC

  right now two jws in my family are watching a documentary about scientology and laughing at the 'crazy things that people believe'.

  isn't it ironic?

  on the other hand i've never seen them watch something like this before.. i'm making sure to laugh loudly at things that parallel jw beliefs and behaviours in order to bring attention to them.. i hope they are curious enough to watch a similar expose on jws should it air on network tv.. yeah right, wishful thinking..

  Ooops...they got disinterested soon after, said they were tired, and went to bed. As expected!

  Too funny. When it starts getting close to home--they bail. They can't even deal with it.

  The WT is evil and terrible and one a huge JW celeb died. This message board has gone absolutely insane with the theories and stuff in regards to Prince and his relationship with WT.

  There is no harm done. It's the interest of the moment.
  

  Regarding watchtower and Princes' will--its only a thought that came to mind.

  with the rc coming i was wondering if anyone else noticed how some jws seemed to have everything somehow?

  you would see these attractive young couples who clearly were well off.

  the brother had privileges though so you know he was at the meetings and fs regularly.

  So, they proceeded to have the child committed into an institution to care for it. Out of sight, out of mind. No one in the congregation ever asked about the little one that disappeared.

  Waking up - introduction

  i am a male, born into the jw cult(ure), baptized as a teen, now mid fifties.

  most of my life i dreamed of hugging pandas and lions, punctuated at times by nightmares of armageddon or jw drama and politics.

  it is so good to know that I am alone. However, I am very sad that my wife is still completely deluded and reacts so dramatically when I occasionally ignite her CD. I empathize with her, because I too suffer the pain of CD, when the things I was taught to believe collide with the recognition of reality.

  Don't be too sad about your wife. There are many experiences here of wives that eventually came around to see the situation without her rose colored glasses. I was one of them. It took a long time but eventually I "saw" too.

  2 questions remain in the passing of brother prince:.

  will an autopsy, that won't be made available for several weeks, reveal that he died of a drug overdose?.

  did prince bequeath a large sum of money to watchtower corporation upon his passing?.

  BEWARE - More force adding on FB

  they are doing it again.. a new group trying to boost membership is adding people without permission.. "ex-jehovah's witnesses aka behind the veil of jw.org" added me this afternoon.

  they were bragging about how quickly they grew to over 2000 members.

  i quickly exited the group.
