I have not contridicted myself rather you have not lsitened to what I have said or you refuse to accept my argument.

I am a Christian which means that I follow the teachings of the Christ.

There is a difference bewtween The Christ and Jesus.

I am not a Jesustian.

The Christ is God, Jesus was a man. Christ and Jesus are 2 distinct seperate beings. The Christ did manifest completely in a man. The Christ did die on a Cross inside a man. The Christ raised that man from the dead. The power of the Christ is our salvation. Jesus knew this and that is why you can not find in the bible anywhere where Jesus claims to be GOD.

Christ is a title, the title we use to describe our GOD as he exsist in us. Christ is not a name. Jesus is a name. To say Jesus Christ is not incorrect. To say Jesus was the Christ is not incorect either. You probably belive that Jesus lives inside you. Truth is The Christ lives inside you just like he lived inside of Jesus.

I believe that Satan uses Jesus as a way to confuse believers. Satan would have everyone worship Jesus as GOD and not come into the realization of the power of the Christ. Satan fears the Christ he did not fear Jesus that is why he attempted to tempt him. Many so-called Christians are fooled to worship Jesus as GOD. Any church, religion, spirtual movement that teaches hate is of Satan. There has been more hate and death in the name of Jesus than any other name on the face of this earth. Likewise there are many who worhip Christ as Jesus and they understand the power of Christ and the Love of GOD. Those people who worhip Jesus and believe that others who do not are dammed are the people who realy worhip Satan. It is the context that Jesus is used by Satan to get believers to worhip Jesus as GOD that Jesus becomes the anti-christ.

Jesus when worshiped as GOD is the Anti-Christ. He is fullfilling the work of Satan.

You have gone on many lentghy tagents arguing points that are not at dispute. I orginally set out to question the devinity of Jesus and that is the argument I would like you to consider. Do not tell me that Christ is GOD. Do not tell me that Jesus Christ is GOD. Those are not my questions. Tell me clearly how Jesus alone is GOD. Show me were Jesus alone claims to be GOD.

I would like you to explain from a logical point of view or a spiritual one How can GOD be tempted with something he already possess. Do not tell me how GOD can be tempted that is not my question. My questions is How can anyone be tempted by something they already have. You can not offer my car to me as a temptation I already own it. How is it then that Satan could tempt GOD with all the kingdoms of the world? God already possessed the Glory of all Kingdoms all things.

You can only come to one conclusion. Satan was tempting a man, not GOD, with Glory. That man having Christ manefested in him withstood the temptation and ordered Satan to worship GOD.

I have asked you to restudy the Bible and to search for Christ. You choose to ignor that request and instead try to convince me and others that Jesus is GOD. You offer lengthy arguments from the Bible and web sites. You defend your position with passion. You do not pray about it or ask GOD for truth. If I worshiped the devil and I thought I was worshipping GOD I guess I would seek high and low for as many resources to support my false belief. I would not want to consider the hard questions that may shed light on my false belief.

Why do you continue to offer a barrage of scriptures on points that were never debated instead of addressing the original question asked.

If Jesus is GOD how could Satan tempt him with something GOD alrady has?

As for the Bible. I believe the Bible was written by men who tried there best to share stories and lessons that will help us understand the nature of GOD. I use the Bible as a resource to help me draw closer to my GOD. I do not believe that the Bible is perfect. There are too many contridictions for the Bible to be considered perfect. That beinng said I think everyone should read it, understand it and try to live by the teachings in it.

I ask that you only respomd to my original question.

First let me make myself clear. I am a Christian. I believe that Christ did manifest fully in Jesus. Christ is not a name it is a title. Christ meaning is the anointed. Jesus was a man. There is a difference between the Christ in Jesus and Jesus. Just like there is a difference between GOD's spirit in us and us. To say Jesus Christ is to say Jesus ( a man) Christ (who is anointed). No need to continue to discuss Jesus as the Christ. There is no disagreement with what you are saying about Jesus and Christ or Jesus Christ. I love Jesus for who he was and what he represents to all true Christians.

How can GOD be made king of a world he created by Satan a creature he also created? Why would Satan even think he could offer his "GOD" the kingdom of the world? It does not make any sense. Satan was trying to tempt a man, Jesus, not GOD. When tempted Jesus with Christ's authority rebuked Satan and said to him "Thou shalt worship the Lord thy GOD, and HIM only shalt thou serve" Jesus did not say to Satan you must worship and serve me for I am your GOD. The Christ in Jesus gave Jesus the power and authority to withstand Satans temptations.

Why would "GOD" have to die on a cross to save the mankind he created? Once again do not confuse GOD, the power of Christ and Jesus. To do so would to completely overlook the power of Christ and the sacrifice that Jesus made.

You have not clarified either by your beliefs or via scripture how a Creation can tempt his Creator.

Once you come to the realization that you can not explain how Jesus if he were GOD could be tempted with all the kingdoms of the world by a creature that he created, than I can begin to explain how I believe in the Christ in Jesus and at the same time I believe that Jesus is also the anti-christ and worshiped by many lost and confussed Christians.

It is Satans greatest success to have Christians worshipping Jesus as GOD and totally confussing the power and authority of Christ.

I appreciate your tenacity and I love and respect the spirit behind your beliefs. Instead of discusing a barrage of scriptures that I do not disagree with lets keep with the original piont I was making- Jesus did not want to be worshiped, Jesus did not want to recieve the glory for the power of Christ that he was fulfilling.

If it is the Divine plan for us to worship Jesus than how could Satan use that as a temptation? How can one be tempted by what they already have or already know to be true? In Luke Satan refered to the power and glory of all the kingdoms of the world and how he would give that to Jesus if Jesus worhiped Satan.

I ask again how can Satan tempt Jesus with something (Power & Glory) that you and many others claim is he has?

The answer is clear. Jesus never wanted to be worshiped. He never claimed any powers of his own, he always gave GOD the glory for his powers.

To worship Jesus and ignor the true spirit of Christ is like worshipping Moses instead of following the 10 comandments.

Ponder this for a while. Pray about it. Seek CHRIST.

Why did Jesus never claim to be GOD?

Offerings at Christian Church's

what do you think about offerings or collection plates being passed at church's?

i sometimes go to this christian church and they pass a plate.

being raised a witness, i sometimes get a weird feeling that they are doing something wrong and it bothers me?

It you feel like you have benifited from your experience at that church that day and you feel lead to you should support the Church financialy so that the Church and it's ministers can continue to help you and others like you. When the plate is passed it should never be about the money. You should never feel wierd or guilty if you choose not to give. Giving is not required. Brummie got it right about it not be a requirment (no 10%). It is a custom at the Church that I attend to at least take the collection, place your hand over it and pray that it is used for GOD's work even if you choose not to put any money in it. I pray for the collection everytime it passes through my hands. I do give at my Church freely and willingly but not every Sunday. I like the feeling I get when I give because I believe that my financial support will help others like me. I would not feel guilty if I did not give though. It is not about the Money it is about believing in a ministry and your desire to keep it going.

this belief is a growing phenomena since 9/11, i did a search on google after someone mentioned on this board that they believe america is btgreat and it came up with pages in support of this view!

this belief is also being pushed by false prophets like jack van imp, he also claimed that osma was the anti-christ shortly after 9/11.

the consequences of pushing this doctrine will cause more fanatics to justify attacks against the usa or promote the belief "they deserve it", how sick.

Anyone that thinks the innocent victims of 9/11 deserved what happen is whack. Anyone that thinks 9/11 was a result of GODS judgement against the US is equally deranged. Anyone that believes that anyform of death is justified because of SIN is lost. Leave it to religions to try and explain something that can not understand by refering to a GOD they don't understand.

I concur with you views. Thanks for this thread. Awhile ago I started one with IMAGINE. It quckly died. It seems many are afraid to come out and say that they believe in the power of Love and Respect for all People. Hate seems to be the way the wind is blowing now a days.

The Christ raised from the dead and was resurected, I believe that firmly. Once again there is a difference between Christ and Jesus.

I appriciate you completely as well. I believe your heart and faith is in the right place. You are trying to teach the right lessons. We all can benifit from the lessons the real Christ taught us, but I also believe that many will learn to hate and miss the truth through fasly worshipping a man name Jesus.

Good catch on the Desert conversation between Jesus and Satan. Satan did ask Jesus to worship him. Satan also showed us his plan, he wanted the world to worship Jesus. The Christ would have no part of that.

I believe that there was a man that had the Christ so manisfested in him that he lived a sinless life. I belive that man died and was resureected. I believe that we all have the same Christ within us but are not nearly as faithful as that man was. That man served as a living example that it can be done, we all need to try to follow his lead.

When the Christ was killed, GOD look down from Heaven and when he saw man he saw his own GLORY!. GOD saw that the faith of a man was complete and that man had GOD's power, GOD's Glory. Through Christ we all have that same power in us. Many now follow the teachings of Jesus and his deciples and learn the true power of GOD and become powerful loving people. Many have learn the truth about Christ and come to the same conclusion. There are many however who worship a man called Jesus and they never come to know the truth. They live thier lives hating, hating themselves and hating others, condeming what they do not understand, labeling as sin that which they can not gain power over. There are many confussed Christians who worship Jesus and know nothing about CHRIST.

I do not think you are one of them. I since that you are Truth seeker and truley love GOD. You are only scratching at the surface- keep digging. Reread the new testimonts not for the story of Jesus but for the story of CHRIST.

When I said that Jesus was the ANti-Christ I meant it. I do not think that everyone that follows Jesus follows Satan. I believe many are finding Christ and seeing a man called Jesus as the living embodiment of the Christ. I also believe that many professed christians have found Jesus, they worship Jesus, they follow mans teachings about Jesus, and they follow Satan to thier own demise.

Jesus is not GOD. GOD is CHRIST. CHRIST is alive in everyone of us. Through the Christ in all of us we too are god's.

You have one small problem UD.

JESUS was the Anti-Christ!

What did the Christ say to the Devil when he spent 40 days in the desert? He rebuked the devil when the devil offered the world to him. The devil said he would have every knee bow down and worhip the Christ and the Christ pushed back against Satan. It was never the Christ intention to have the world worhip him.

Also check out what Revelations says about the Anti-Christ... crown of thorns, speaking in tounges, healing the sick, quoting scripture....Sounds like JESUS.

I think there is a distinct difference between JESUS and Christ.

Just some food for thought.

PS I think the points you made about JW's take on Jesus was well put and does a good job exposing their perverted view on JESUS and the Christ.

I live in Texas and today I paid $1.72 a gallon for Super and filled my large American car up. I drive 70 miles round trip to and from my office office everyday not to mention the miles I drive on business during the week.
