the bushfires 200 miles away have lowered a pall of dense smoke over the entire city and you can smell the burnt wood smell.

I get a bit nervous about the fires....I`m not too far from the YouYangs (aboriginal name) which is a small hilly area and VERY dry and full of bush - if a fire started there would be hard to contain it.....Yes its been a bit unnerving of late......thanks for your concern...

NOR am I GIz..hear hear!Red Sandstorm, from the Malle, all the birds panicked and went to their nests in the middle of the day, and I remember later how most of the dubs, myself included thought this was it.
So glad you reminded me of that Giz........I remember that clearly and I remember thinking it was armageddon at the time.....not a good feelking when you`ve just been DF`ed..lolol.......but remember it well that was eerie too....similiar to now..
and yes Refiner bit like that down in little slepy Geeeeelong.although you would`nt know..being up in the big smoke and all..lolol..glad I don`t get asthma -

I agree Refiner and Giz...its sooo spooky.....has been really smoky over here...and I couldn`t believe the Sun..a HUGE RED ball.......very eerire..and Giz..I have NO lawn its just all dried up and died......Refiner don`t think we need an asteroid as well thanks....lol

by Brummie ini was reading something bout bashing the org unfairly...i disagree with doing it to a degree but did you get an unfair bashing by jws after you left?
i was accused of marrying a sister (who i helped to leave at the same time as me), she was twice my senoir and had sons the same age as me...pure lies and gossip.
and i was accused of smoking some drug, and thats why i disassed.

so my only bit of post this morning is a letter from the elders, i've been doing battle with them for a few weeks over arrangements for a judicial committee.
well, anyway as expected they "will not enter into any correspondence" nor will they allow a friend to attend the meeting with me but they will meet on friday to finalise the matter!

Good for you doing something about it publicly ....if it were me I would contact my local papers...and stir it really up....if you get a good reporter that you can talk to they will handle it very well in your favour.nor will they allow a friend to attend the meeting with me
thats terrible.....and we know why don`t we...may have to hide someone or wear taped wires.....could make it quite a `fun` experience, bit like undercover cult busting stuff....Good Luck with it!!
