is it just me or is it perfectly fine for a brother to take a 3 day or 5 day or 10 day cruise and miss up to 2 weeks worth of meetings and nothing is said.
but if a brother misses a month of sundays to work to put food on the table or make the rent, he is counsled.
does this make sense.
do you believe that the gb members, and the wt writers are consciously aware of their dishonesty and deceit?
i really can't imagine, after reading so many of their articles and books, that the manipulation is by chance.
it's one thing to really believe what you are writing will help people and try to maintain authority when doing so, but i've found too many examples of outright verbal abuse.
i know alot of people don't like beer, but i have been drinking beer since i was 7 yrs old.

i was drinking bud light but my bf drinks dark beer (which i hated), but from kissing him for more than a yr now.
i can say in all honesty that i am not a prejudiced person.
i deal with people of all colors, races, sexes, religous creeds and sexual preferences in the same manner at my job.
what bugs the crap out of me is whenever i see white people have a difference with a person who is black, the black person automatically thinks that its a racism issue.. today, i asked a gentleman for his insurance information for the finance company.

we posted a few weeks ago that our mother had been diagnosed with pancreas cancer and was given 6-18 months with chemo.
i would like to start out by saying how glad i am to find a forum to discuss issues in my life very few people understand.
i hope to learn a few things and possibly make some new friends along the way.
i'm 34 years old and have been disfellowshipped for 17 years.
i am new to all of this, even tho i have not been going to the meetings for nearly 4 years now, through the basic hypocrisy that i faced and the witch hunt i have had to put up with over the last few years.
because i dare to expose the bent dealings of a car salesmen, who happened to be a p>o> i tried to ignore all of this and thought let them get on with it.
my wife continued going to the meetings, and was shunned the whole 4 years, despite both of us being very active members of the cong.

bushfires have been raging around sydney for the past 2 days.
high temperatures (30c+) plus blustery hot winds have fanned fires all around my city.
the reason for this is that although the central business district of sydney and neighbouring suburbs are purely metropolitan, the outlying suburbs are surrounded by bushland, and many areas naturally have plenty of vegetation.
I just got off the phone to my sister. She lives in Castle Hill. She told me that our friends in Borwra had to be evacuated last night.
They havent lost their house at this stage but it got pretty close.
My parents live in Cessnock state forrest but the fires are not near them... It is closer to all the wineries in Pokolbin.
