Firstly, goodbye and good luck in your future.
I was at one stage, addicted to the net.. my social life went out the window and I couldnt wait to get home and get back on the net again.
Then one day I woke up and thought, every day it is the same old garbage over and over again and I stopped dead cold and didnt go near the net for about 6 months.
then slowly I got in contact with all the friends I had made and if it wasnt for the internet, I wouldnt be free from the borg. (long story, another day)
My point to all this is, I have made so many true and lastly friends (including my fiance) from the internet. They are true friends. Go if you must but remember, we will always be an email away if you need us.
Thank you for all your kind words of support during my rough periods.

Lost my job cause of the dubs!
by kelpie inthese last two weeks have been just plain awful for me... 2 weeks i hope to never have to go through.
firstly my mum disowns me, then i lose my baby and get an infection from the miscarriage.
i go back to work after having 10 days off to find out i have lost my job.

had very loyal and active dub parents... there was just no question growing up that i was going to pioneer, reach out for privileges, etc.

I did it because it was "expected" of me and to get the approval of my mother. I was always the "good" daughter and did what my mum wanted, which meant getting baptised.....
I think about 80% of young ones got baptised ofr similar reasons.

maybe you could approach your employer and explain the situation to them - that the calls were not solicted on your part
I have spoken to them and they are not interested in keeping me on. They will pay for counselling tho... I have thought of taken them for unfair dismissal (they also made a comment that I was too young for the position I have been holding for over a year.) A lawyer has my details.
It all depends on the cost. I have a couple of interviews with employment agents today so fingers crossed. I always hate these interviews because they give you a typing test and I am always much slower in typing test then when I am typing normally.
I am fairly positive that I will get other employment and fairly soon so the situation isn't that bad yet.
