  as i was growing up in the troof.

  there were sayings used over and over again to control my behaviour.

  the biblical on bad associations spoil useful habits and another on just because everyone else does it doesnt mean you have to do it to, would you jump off a cliff just because other people do what were the sayings that bugged you?

  i was wondering as i have been lately; did i turn my back on god and am i wrong for turning my back on the organization?.

  are there any of you out there that feel like you have a real personal relationship with god with or without religion in your life?

  do you still call god jehovah?

  for some, there is real fear that they must speak to the elders if they decide to stop by your house .some don't know what they will do if the elders begin questioning them.

  what will you do if they want to talk to you?

  I don't know minimus, it still sounds to me like you are doing some sort of predatory, secret research for the WTS, you phrase your questions and comments very carefully. I choose not to reply to your threads anymore. I hope you are not doing this but I make this choice out of pride for my anonymity.

  Francois, I refer to JW's as a high control group that uses coercive indoctrination techniques. I am currently writing a book on the subject, I just don't know if I want to get it published in book form or on the internet only. When active JW's are confronted, not with their teaching, but with their practices and indoctrination techniques, they have no reasonable arguement.

  Never underestimate the ability of an active JW to deceive someone and when they do this it is usually for malicious reasons, be careful and keep your senses sharp when talking to her. (I have to with my ex)
