i just want to say that i am amazed at the wealth of knowledge on this site..i went to the meetings for about 25 yrs and i didnt know a lot of the stuff that you all mention on this site.........i just want to say well done to all those people that do know what they do.............for instance, i never ever knew about the questions changing for the baptism, i got dunked in 1979....and havent been going to the meetings for the last 10 yrs...

i've just joined up to silentlambs.
basically i still consider myself a jw, although i'm no longer active.
i do frequent the odd sunday meeting tho, as i still consider 95% of it to be the truth.
you do have to be going to the meetings, witnessing and all the rest of the stuff...you cannot be sitting on the fence which really you are doing....jehovah isnt going to say, oh well, they didnt go to the meetings etc, but they still considered them a witness so thats ok,.......its not ok......you have to do it all the way or not at all........thats advice i was given and i didnt like that at first but i thought about it, and its true........the witnesses always say, you cant sit on the fence, either one or the other.........so even though you basically dont go to the meetings, you are on the "other" side of the fence.

one that hasn't been mentioned that i like a lot is pepper jack cheese (yummy!!!
) havarti is a nice mild, smooth and creamy delight!!.
i absolutely love freshly grated parmesan cheese and also swiss cheese................

my grandma was a remarkable woman, with a sense of humour that could crack me up.
and she had the determination to make everything she started a success.
she never gave up, and fought for everything she hold dear.
how sad for you.....i know what its like, i was a similar situation with my mum...someone always slept in the same room as her in case she was in pain or had to go to the toilet because she couldnt really do anything much for herself....she had cancer and she died 4 months after she found out....i miss her very much and she was a "faithful" jehovahs witness right to the end.....one thing she said though when she was dying was that she was going to heaven...............go figure....

well, there is something i want to ask ......does anyone remember a story about a witness lady that was at a door and a man answered....apparently he was a murderer or rapist or something....anyway, nothing happened to the witness lady and later on he went to court for something and the judge asked him why he didnt attack the witness and he said because there was a big guy or man with her.....now, that is supposedly suppose to be an angel.....now, that angel being there obviously stopped her from getting attacked, so, she was protected, right, and if that was jehovah protecting that person, why didnt he protect those 2 witnesses that were beheaded?

amazingly this contradicts the evidence from decided court cases as shown in the program.

Apparently they caught this photo (using digital imaging and sound) of what they claim to be her. This one is wild and a little spooky once you find the ghost in the picture. It took me about 20 seconds to find it but once you do, it just stands out, like one of those optical illusions, so keep looking. To save you some time, concentrate around the table and sort of towards the window. Also if you have volume, make sure you turn it up as you can start hearing some faint murmerings after a while which they say is the ghost talking.
