I am not surprised to see the corporate WTS involved in any manner of intrigues. However, Is Jolene Chu a jaydub or simply a non-jw contractor? Does anyone have a dossier on this person?

If it's any consolation, as survivors of mindcontrol, I suspect we're all a little derranged! This forum allows what was intolerable in the tightly controlled watchtower environment---some semblance of openness based on our diverse experiences and views. I suspect that the challenge of Christian freedom is to attain unity via diversity, AND not pseudo-unity via conformity as mind control groups demand. Keep up with your opposing views; there is so much to learn, not only about the subject matter under discussion, but how others think and feel and reason. Thank you for your input here.

Hey Temecula Mole, You bring tears of joy to my eyes. I trust a sniff test will do the same for others. Don't you just hate it when you're standing in a long line waiting to pay for your coffee and buns and decide there and then to let one rip so as to clear the line and get to the cashier, but as you do you realise that there was more substance than gas? I guess this is what you might call the 'Juicer'. If the line doesn't clear quickly, boy haven't you got a mess on your buns by the time you reach the cashier?

Hey dedalus, I cannot speak for maverick, his views on D/F't & D/A'n etc.. What I see in this BN is the potential for something better, something by which the individual can take the stick out of the tyrants' hands and leave on his terms and still give the proles a watchtower-legalistic basis to maintain communication with the now worldly reinstated individual. When an individual is D/F'd he permits the action on the thugs' terms; when he D/A's he admits departure on the thugs' terms. BN is taking this out of the thugs' hands, it seems. Now most of my terms, clauses and phrases are couched in "seems", "may", "might" etc. for the simple reason I do not know how successful this method will or will not be. Furthermore, I would argue if a person has permitted his own D/F't or D/A'n he allows the perpetuation of any labelling of himself as an implied acceptance of the tyrants' perpetual control over him and cannot sue. But that's just my opinion. May be there's a legal mind that'd like to comment on this.

Hey dedalus, I think it's fair to say that baptism nullification is hypothetical at this point in time. No-one can state categorically that it works in the way it's theorized to. This is the context of this discussion, isn't it? What we do know is that D/Fment and D/A'n is a one-way street in regards to maintaining communication with friends and family within the gulags. BN at least holds the potential for civility. In regards to lawsuits under the present D/F & D/A arrangement it's been my understanding that legally one can do little to nothing for the simple reason that the baptism is the means by which contractual agreement emerges and binds the individual to the terms implied or otherwise known in his relationship to the spiritual corporate tyrant. BN, in theory, seems to exempt the individual from the contract. Even maverick doesn't know postively how this will pan out. I recall him stating that he maintains communication with some of those to whom he sent a copy of his BN. This might suggest BN is working.
Farkel, although demonstrating the tragedy of watcher-induced suicides, raises the possibility that BN could be construed as spiritual suicide, thus additionally releasing the individual from bondage to corporate tyranny.

I was one of several fartologists who was sent to various gulag hotspots to quell dissent.
We have three major specialities: The Ionizer, The Paint Peeler and The Sunday Special. (At this point I should state that farting is peculiar to the vulgar class; Flatulence, on the other hand, is a skill performed in arabesque precision and the two should never be confused) Now, The Ionizer is for the spiritual doubters and slugs. It works this way. I would be sent into a local gulag where either the wardens were concerned about the restless state of the serfs or the statistics suggested that low hours was harbinger to rebellion. Sitting at the back of the Hall near the fusebox I would silently flatulate. The gas had to be atmospherically light to permeate the lighting fixtures and fusebox. During a usually boring meeting air would be ionized in the fusebox and lighting, thus causing flashes and sparks and smoke and crackling. Naturally this co-incides with a prearraged meeting part dealing with slackers and their imminent destruction at Armageddon. The effect is predictable. Belief is immediately restored and field service improves.
The Sunday Special is reserved for those monotonous sleeper speeches where practically the whole audience enjoys catching up on slumber lost from attending meetings earlier in the week. The fartolgist has to either position himself near the return-air inlet of the airconditioning or sit in the middle of the audience. The gas is heavier clinging to the floor, but the risk of getting caught is greater because the flatulence emerges with volumes of air and noise. The result for the hapless recipients is involuntary muscle twitching, waking the slumbering proles. The molecular component of the gas is determined by food, and the effect is to restore doublethink, which handsome levels of sleep tends to dissipate. And you thought cognitve dissonance abrogation happens intellectually: It's done chemically! But this profession is fraught with danger. I recall the time I was sent to San Francisco to ply my art. What the Bethel gestapo failed to tell me was this particulat gulag was mostly Gay. Yes, one out of every three San Franciscans are Gay and the ratio is about the same around the Bay area in the gulags too. Anyhow I let rip with what I thought was the standard Sunday Special, but as soon as I smelled it I knew then I'd consumed the wrong recipe again. It was The Paint Peeler. One third of the whole audience became sexually aroused and suspicion pointed at me because I was the "noisy" stranger. Well, you know how it is when you sense danger? I raced to the door only to be intercepted by two 300lb bulldykes who slowed my egress. Five peter-smoochers grabbed me from behind and tried dragging me back inside the Hall. I let loose with another Paint Peeler,which temporarily disoriented my persecutors sending them reeling. This allowed me time to regroup and sprint outside. Fortunately there was a Police station nearby that I went for aid. The clamouring crowd outside the Police station caused me to wonder if this is how Lot felt in ancient Sodom. A phone call to Bethel Gestapo satisfied the Police that I'd done nothing wrong, but they couldn't bring the excited and aroused crowd to heel. Governor Reagan was forced to send in the National Guard. Perhaps some of you remember that disturbance years ago?

Hey dedalus, What's your problem? This guy gave jws and others another option! D/A-D/F-Fadeaway, or Baptism Nullification----do what works best for you. The nullification method seems to be a distinction with a difference, contrary to your claim. Many jws are fearful of leaving the orwellian watchtower world because of the shunning and ostracism mechanisms that disfellowshipment and disassociation and to lesser extent fadeawy causes. Baptism nullification, as I understand it, has several benefits;(i) gives an individual the option to leave in a spiritual condition prior to baptism, i.e. a worldly person that jws can communicate with (ii) in the event that libel or slander erupts in the local gulag lawsuit might be considered. Show us how a jw can D/A or be D/F'd and still communicate with friends and family in the gulags and I'll listen to ya!

Hi sKally, Before we wed, don't you think we should first date? To the contrary, I have been enjoying your posts; I appreciate the information you share. Yes, I see the WTS as marxist, much the same as the so-called democracies. I suspect that the so-called democracies will be melded together with the marxist states formerly known as the Soviet bloc. But let me ask you a couple of questions now that you raise the Commie issue. Do you remember the watchtower quoting, I recall, Nikita Kruschev (it might've been another USSR leader) stating that the USSR would 'conquer' the west by 1975?(this quote was sometime back in the early 70's) And what significance do you place on the watchtower's circa 1992 comments in a prophecy exegesis of the king of the north/south that the USSR/Russia would revive? And what do you know about the "when" factor regarding the large stellar body which contemporary scientists believe is a brown dwarf?
