I hung out with Prince...

with all the talk lately about micheal jackson, i wanted talk about prince.. a few months ago, hung out with prince.
i was also planning on going to a public talk meeting with him, but i got into town too late.

Yeh I don't have anything against Prince or MJ, they are a bit kooky tho you have to admit.
I have little knowledge of Princes' private life other than he had a baby that died and shortly after that he apparantly found The "TROOF" . I have listened to some of his latest music namely Rainbow Children and I must say, I don't really like it, and can read the message in at least one of his songs towards so called apostates, and the "Digital Gardens" which I interpret as The Internet, we have built to bring down the chosen ones, hehehe now that's kooky. Personally I prefer his older stuff, before he became a dub.
I don't personally think he'll remain a dub, but that's just my opinion.

Did the movie Matrix remind you of the Borg
by Fruitcake ini am going to rewatch the movie matrix, because a member of this board said that it reminded him of the watchtower, and how it showed the wt to be a controlling entity that brainwashed its meek followers while others saw through the facade and fought against it.. the movie stigmata, about the catholic church, reminded me of the watchtower also...... maybe jehovah is using movies to speak to us, especially through r rated movies that they so warned us against..(or maybe i'm a fruitcake).
my friend elumn8 and i are watching a bunch of r rated movies now that we broke away, and we think we are learning something!

Yep, the movie Matrix, definately reminded me of The Society while watching it. Whenever there are episodes of Star Trek featuring the Borg, that also very much reminds me of the Organisation.

I think those that have tend to align with the negative manipulative aspects portrayed by those films with what we have been exposed to in the society we were in. The similarities are enormous in a fictional sort of way, however only those that have been trapped inside a society that manifests itself as light, but in reality is darkness can associate the resemblence.

since college and secular training is generally discouraged, there is good reason to believe that most witnesses will be less educated than others.
yet, teaching is one of the main points stressed to all witnesses.

Where else in the world other than a KH could a window washer yield such Power? It is true many uneducated men have become elders, however that's not always the case.
The ones that do have an education, can be even more dangerous than the ones that don't, or cannot express themselves as well, those that do have an education are often more manipulative, and often lord their education over those that don't have one.
During my time inside I noticed many different levels of education amongst elders, from those barely being able to read, to University graduates.
According to the selection criteria, education has little to do with one qualifying to becoming an elder, however those that are educated, ultimately gain the greater respect and power.
I'm just glad I don't have to listen to their crap anymore. Or anyone elses if I choose not to listen.
Having said that, I do know of 1 really great Elder, very meek and humble man, can hardly read or write actually, due to migrating to a foreign country at a late age. He wouldn't hurt a fly, he's quite old now, and I sometimes see him sitting on a street bench, near a shopping strip, with The Awake and Watchtower magazines in hand, for anyone that wants them. That's his brand of witnessing, that's all he can do.
I feel sorry for him, because of what I have learnt of the borg, however, in his case I guess ignorance is bliss, he always seems happy, so I think that's great for him.

Would the WTS have DF'd Michael Jackson?

if he had not da'd himself, with all he has done in the last 15 years or so since that time, would the wts have df'd him?.
the charity work, the children being around, the cosmetic surgeries, the career, etc?

As for the Williams Girls, ummm they aren't baptised are they, only mommy dearest is I think, again I could be way off.

My Mind Isn't Working Properly

i can't remember the names of movie actors, people i have worked with, the names of things like some parts of cars, as an example.
sometimes i can't remember how to travel to a place i haven't been in several years.

Before you do anything see your doctor ok?
Also just by being here and talking, helps exercise the brain, the internet also helps to a point if you have an interest, you mentioned cars, do research on that or other hobbies you enjoy, I guess the Brain is a like a muscle it needs exercise and stimulation or it atrophies.

by freedom96 inwe remember things such as telling us how to dress, not celebrating holidays, paradise on earth etc.. but what about the deeper teachings?
especially those of you who now follow another religion.
there was so much garbage taught, especially in regards to revelation and things like that.

Not entirely yet, but it's not on the tip of my tongue as it once was.
But even with the deeper stuff, if you had to debate it with anyone, I remember still having to research before hand. Especially when trying to convince someone we had the "Truth", and why it was different from mainstream thinking.
I too like to stay away from religious subjects, (other than clowning around) mainly because I find I don't really have a spiritual need anymore, plus I don't trust or believe anyone to have the absolute truth about God or life.
