why would they choose a calf as opposed to a bull or a cow?.

There goes Satan, running ahead of Jehovah again. Jehovah will smite his ass soon, just like he was going to back in the 1870s. And we should all be waiting for Paradise Erf to fix everything for us instead of trying to fix it ourselves. Have issues with the abuse you've suffered? Paradise Erf will fix it. The pain you have resulting from nobody taking you to the hospital when you injured yourself as a child? Paradise Erf is the cure! You'll be able to grow young and play with herbivorous lions. Magic fairies will sprinkle Jehovah dust upon you and make you forget about that old world where you suffered so greatly.

Then, Jehovah lets Satan out again so he can destroy people living in Paradise Erf. Don't sound like no paradise to me.

I believe it's in the Bible Stories book.

I'm wondering how the hell they could make a mold for the calf, unless they just drew a picture of a calf in sand and poured the melted gold into it.

But how could they pour a bucket of hot, molten gold without some kind of protection? What was the bucket made of?

What did they start a fire with? a cactus? Tar sand?

Where are the stone tablets that Moses broke? Have those ever been found?

As usual, I think the whole story is horseshit.

while doing some job hunting, i came across an ad for a cleaning business called "paradise cleaning" or something like that.

i'd think it's a 99% chance that the company is a bunch of jws.

i was just curious---.

i assume that there are active jws that visit here.. any idea on the percent that the board has?

does it just seem to be a very few or is it a substantial number?.

I seem to attract responses from active JWs on here, usually when it comes to issues such as abuse. I don't know why they enjoy picking on me. Probably because I was never baptized, and they're allowed to talk to me.

as to future cutbacks in jehovah's progressive organization, i see these:.

once again, dump the awake completely.

's have observed that this doom and gloom scandal sheet needs defending.

Dumping the Awake is a tough one. The Watchtower magazine has a JW stigma to it that even non-JWs know. Face it, how many times have you buried a Watchtower under an Awake magazine solely to get the magazines into the householder's hands?

What I think they should do is eliminate the "public" version of the Watchtower, and replace that with the Awake.
