Memorial anyone?

anyone got plans to attend the memorial?.

i am going again this year.

not out of duty or for anyone else but for myself.

After being disfellowshipped, my freind and I realized the full meaning of our relationship with Christ.

We are never going to be Witesses again, and we have lost lots of family these past months.

My friend has been a Witness all his life, and grew up in the same Hall.

Were both going together and partaking. They are sure to be mad and gnashing their teeth over this one, because of the complexities of our disfellowshipping. They will be shocked for sure.

We believe we must confess this union and new identity before them, family and former friends. Saying,,,, We dont need your conditional, {jump through hoops} love anymore, we have Christ!!

Since leaving the org..what do you do with the time that you now have free?

after quitting meeting attendance, study for meetings and field service we gain alot of time.

i wasn't used to having that time to just do nothing and i've never been used to doing just nothing (relaxing and having time to stop and smell the roses).

so i joined the pto, my kids signed up for sports, i became a parent volunteer at the school, i became a coach and the list goes on.

i just bought a red layered dress.

i don't know how to explain it completely, but it is a red chiffon and a copy of a very famous german styler.

The memorial is an occasion of someone that feels they are of the bride class, awaiting their marital union with Christ. A happy, beautiful event, when one can confess of this union.

I say, hell yeah, look your best, and liven up this occasion that the Watchtower has made so depressing and exclusive only to their VIP Old fogies at Bethel!!

i am fascinated to know who left the wtbts simply because they felt they possessed the heavenly calling?

when and how did you feel the upward call, and how has it affected your life?

It is commonly understood that you have to be an elder or on the Governing Body to have the heavenly calling. You have to be a super intelligent white male (preferably) with decades of service under your belt. The call ended in 1935. If you were chosen later, than you had to replace someone.

A sweet little sister living in a trailor park is a NO NO. A young Russian or African in the newly converted areas is a NO NO. ANYONE younger than 45 and is not high up on the rank and file, is a NO NO. Ever used drugs or been mentally hospitalized? forget it! March 15? 2003 issue.

I couldnt stand the I AM RIGHTEOUS < YOU ARE PIDDLY, drivel of the WT.

God chooses the humble at heart, the loving at heart, and those poor in spirit to represent him.

I just opened up my Bible and read Jehovah calling those who love with their heart ALL humankind to his Grace and mercy. whether in heaven or earth.

The Watchtower society is Whitewashed graves who will pay dearly for their selfish, evil slave tendancies.

All who are in the calling now are led out, into a wilderness, knowing that Jesus is the "way and the truth and the life"

The way I can read the Bible and understand prophecy, how it relates to the Watchtower, (present day pharisees) and read about the future , is mostly how I feel the spiritual anointing that teaches me, apart from the WT

i have enjoyed studying with a warm wonderful group of people called the dawn bible students.. they are everything the witnessness are not and they have much love and compassion between them, contrary to the coldness and harsh judgement of the borg.. .

they still read brother russell and his writings, they are the begining of the watchtower society, but became the dawn bible students when rutherford had taken over, and started the hierarchy, and structure of modern day witnesses.. .

the watchtower hates this small humble group of people and declares them the evil slave!

I have enjoyed studying with a warm wonderful group of people called the Dawn Bible Students.. They are everything the Witnessness are not and they have much love and compassion between them, contrary to the coldness and harsh judgement of the Borg.

They still read Brother Russell and his writings, They are the begining of the Watchtower society, but became THE DAWN Bible students when Rutherford had taken over, and started the hierarchy, and structure of modern day Witnesses.

The Watchtower hates this small humble group of people and declares them the evil slave! I found them to be warm and casual, teaching biblical accuracy and truth about the trinity and hellfire, but putting the celebration of holidays etc, according to individual conscience..

They do not believe in shunning and disfellowshipping, and have a lot of ex Witnesses they have welcomed with open arms.

I have been to a wonderful CASUALLY dressed Bible study where we had open, expressions and discussions about the Bible, and even got to talk about our experiences, and or history of the Watchtower.

The creation of the Dawn Bible students came about with a revolt on the hypocrisy of the Watchtower which is way the Borg hates them so much.. They continue to publish Brother Russells sixth volumes, and have two magazies THE DAWN and THE HERALD

They have welcomed in a lot of skinned, and hurt ex witnesses and many ex witnesses have found the true love and support with this wonderful group which is growing worldwide..

well, nisan 14 is rolling around again, and i am going to partake at the memorial.. when i was a goodstanding jw last year, i really thought of the relationship i had with the christ, and partook, and they all had a cow.

since the organization has recieved "new light" regarding the 1914 generation, and completely changed their view on this, does this mean that.

all the former jehovah's witnesses who were disfellowshipped years ago for the same view the organization is now teaching will automatically be.

accepted into fellowship again?

I was Disfellowshipped for fornication. But I had the opportunity then to look back and start to question the issues I had with the society during my years of study. I associated with people they warned me not to, I finaly opened up the Bible and read it without the aid of a book or Watchtower.

It really opened up my eyes on how far away they have gotten from the original teachings of Christ. I believe that it is the Holy Spirit that teaches us, not men, and that there is no organization on this earth that is better than any other.

One must have a personal relationship with Jehovah and Christ, and God is the judge of mankind, with ultimately the 144,000 whom God chooses, NOT the GB>

They have long harassed anyone whoever thought they had this relationship with Christ, So God will judge them the way they judged others.

They ARE of the Wicked Slave Class, pure and simple. and I used to be the model JW just one year ago, and never thought I would say it.

How did you imagine the end happening?

i always imagined it as being the sky turning different shades of purple and finally seeing colors i've never seen before.

loud lightening, thunder in all directions... i would hear god speak, then the sky would turn red, and i'd see angels coming down from the sky and devils go up and fight in the sky... kinda like in raiders of the lost arc.

it would last 40 years, then the earth would split and open all demons would be cast below, and then 2 weeks of rain will cleanse the earth and the paradise would grow from the ash and neutrient rich rain.. .

The Great Day of Jehovah will be a Judgement against hypocritical religious leaders that have hindered the workings of his holy spirit, and of Gods anointed sons. It is against people that have shown pride and lawlessness, even when they thought they were doing Gods work.

The "Great Day" will not be against the billions of humanity in general as we have been taught.
