I bet the letter in that Awake was sent in by JWs anyway (if it even existed).

Convention Drama creeps out JWs?
by ezekiel3 ini am getting news from jws who have attended the district convention that the drama (which is pre-recorded and played to lip-syncing actors) has a demon-possessed woman with a ?demonic voice?.
can anyone confirm this?
it is said to be pretty creepy sound effect and many jws are uncomfortable when they hear it.

Being scared by a funny voice is what happens to you when you don't watch R-rated movies!

I went to conventions at Sheffield Hillsborough, Leeds, and Sheffield Don Valley - and I think at Hillsborough we were sitting on the terraces :( with some other mums and babies and there were buggies (this was early 80's).
At Leeds we had to go up steps to get to the stands and there was a buggy zone - not a *ban* per se but it's either leave your buggy there or drag it up flights of stone steps and have to keep it in the aisle, so common sense really, but not common sense with the choice of location - football stadiums are not designed for babies and prams! At Leeds the buggy zone was inside on the concourse and there was a bit of seating so some mums went and put their babies to sleep there and sat and could still hear the session - but mostly the buggies and prams were just stacked.
I think at Don Valley they were in an indoor training track. -

What Flip-Flop teachings/beliefs do you think will come back?
by JH inoften the jw taught something, and came back a few years later to teach just the opposite.
example: will the men of sodom be resurrected?.

considering people who are inactive for 2 years DA'ing themselves
That would be awful for so many people and families... but would be a blessing in disguise for many of them. If they said they considered my mum DA'd (6 years inactive) that might be the final push she needs - only *just* in but hanging on by a really devout brainwashed finger!

Anyone want to lend me 10k? Or make it 20k so I can tart it up lots?

I didn't know what Farkel was until just now - but I realise I've played it but just didn't know the name.
Might have to buy me some coloured dice in a fancy tube Farkel set now rather than scour the house for 6 dice! :D -
