It *never* fails to amaze me how many JWs don't know about Jesus not being their Mediator and will swear up and down that he is - then immediately accept the WT without even blinking when I show them in the WT literature. This is my favourite thing to ask JWs about because it's so outrageous and so obviously untrue.
It's got such wide-ranging consequences for forgiveness and salvation that I suppose it's just too hard to think about where having no Mediator leaves them - never mind it entering their heads that the WT is clearly wrong on something. All of us who have left knows how impossible that used to be to contemplate.

JWD 2004 Annual Report

thanks to everyone for keeping the homefires lit.. it was also encouraging to see so many new ones.
i'm happy to report that for the 2004 jwd service year (ends dec 14), we had spectacular growth.

Can you dispute the articles?
I already disproved the belief in my original post. You should be the one disputing - you said Jesus is the Mediator and that all JWs know it.
Why do you suddenly believe what the WT says must be the truth even though it's the *exact* opposite of what you KNEW before?
Why challenge me to disprove it... when I'd just be using the same Bible-based arguments you and I both used in our first posts in this thread?
Either the Bible is right on this or the WT is - you were certain they were in agreement, now you're presenting "proof" of the opposite. Why have you weather-cocked on this? Does the WT always have to be right regardless of what the Bible says? -

With these articles he posted, one could almost imagine that witnessdefence, was only playing clueless, in order to get other witnesses to consider what the Borg has really said. Kind of a Quotes double agent?
Yeah, I considered this - I wrote it in a post then deleted it... an intelligent fake Devil's Advocate would have let us in on it via PM and had a crisis of conscience by now for effect. WitlessDense is just that. -

When you wrote your first comment you implied that the Watchtower put itself above Jesus.That was the point you where apparently trying to make.You were wrong.Now do you care to tell me why the articles are wrong?
No I didn't! I said that the WT puts themselves BETWEEN mankind and Jesus, by saying the vast majority of JWs don't have Jesus as a Mediator. I said THAT was wrong.
The articles are saying - as you apparently didn't read them, as they agree with what I am saying and surely you don't want to support *my* point of view - that Jesus is only the Mediator for the 144,000. You have said that I was LYING when I said that. *You* said that he was Mediator of all JWs, *that* is incorrect. -
