LyinEyes, yes I have kids in their twenties. Actually I have six, yes 6 children. Three boys and three girls. LOL I know, I know.....SIX KIDS?!!!! LOL Yeah, jus call me Fertile Myrtle. LOL Yes Jesika is my niece.

ok those of you that know me personally know that i sit on a ton of event committees, usually for non-profits benefitting kids.
yes, it is very rewarding but there is no paycheck.
this has not been an issue for us.

hi everyone, something has been on my mind lately and i would really appreciate some comments.
i've posted a few topic discussions on my story as a dub, recent dicoveries of wt tampering with the bible translations they use and the subsequent emotions that came from learning that so many things i was taught growing up are lies, and about visiting various churches (chuck swindoll etc).
here's what has been on mind the last few days.

Goldmorning, I do remember you. I understand completely what you wrote, I feel it. It's a new thing to me needless to say, so these experiences that keep happening cause me to say Woah, what was that? You know? It's odd to have these things happening, because I'd never experienced them before. I do know and believe wholeheartedly that my heart and mind is open to whatever it is God chooses for me to do. I have have times where I've thought that I wanted to just completely distance myself from the entire subject of my Dubhood, my childhood, this board and the others I'm a part of. But........then I suddenly get an email from someone who has seen my posts on Silentlambs, my history posted, and they email me with questions about dubhood, their history much like mine, etc. And I feel COMPELLED to reach out to them, helping them in whatever way I can according to the need they each express to me. Sometimes it's been where they want/need a contact local to them to talk to (an example, one 61 yr. old lady who'se bestfriend/fleshly sister recently passed away and she felt all alone, since she's DA) I was able to put her in contact with people local to her, along with [email protected] for woman just like us. I feel no sense of pride over these things, as if I've done so much. I only feel as though this is what God is wanting me to do right now, help others in whatever way I can. If there's an issue or problem someone has that I don't have knowledge or experience enough to be of help, I know where the help can be found, and I find it for them and pass it on.
Even my fiance doesn't/can't understand why I feel so strongly about my need to help current, questioning dubs, and those who've left already. I simply have told him that I feel as though I'm in a unique position having had the life I've had so far. I can either push it all back in my mind, trying to forget all I can, never speak of any of it again etc, or...........I can USE my past as a way of helping others who need and ask for it. I told him I feel this is what God is wanting me to do right now, as it brings me further healing and I'm doing good for others. He doesn't have a problem per se about my participation in all these areas, he simply has never had the experiences I've had so he cannot relate. But he did tell me that if I feel this is something God has drawn me to do, then he can't and won't even hint that he has a problem with the time it takes. He's truly a wonderful man, and I adore him.
My prayer many, many years ago for God to bless me with a good and loving man has been answered in Larry. My wedding day can't come fast enough. :-)

Windchaser....Jes is right. The S.O.B died many years ago of heart failure. Go figure. We had moved away by then and my son didn't know he had died so he kept the secret from us until he was arrested for hurting my youngest daughter.
TraumaHound, how do I get the info online? I know there's a thing called Public Data, but I don't know anything about it.
Please everyone, I hope I made myself clear, Melanie is not the victim Andre hurt. The victim was my youngest daughter Heather. Melanie just sticks up for Andre about everything, and it means nothing to her that he's a master liar and manipulator. Of course, with the wording of her email to Jesika, sounds like she's picking up on some of the manipulating herself.

TTBoy, My daughter hasn't spoken or emailed Jesika in a very long time. My daughter has no idea that Jesika and I talk almost every day! Melanie has told me not to forward her any of the information about silentlambs stuff, etc because it's too depressing for her. She's not a Dub anymore (never baptized), but my daughter and I have only had casual conversations lately mostly about the wedding preparations. So she will be blown away when she discovers that I know about her sneak attack, lies about me supposedly telling her anything at all about Jesika as she claimed in her email, and I'll be interested to see how Melanie decides to inform me since Jesika has put the pressure on for her to tell me. Melanie must think I'm some of blond idiot. This hair might be blond, but I'll tell ya..........the bleach ain't gotten to the brain just yet! It's still workin just fine.

First, I want to say that I am very disappointed in the way you have worded this email to me, being that YOU need MY help. I wouldn't tell someone if they love me don't do such and such. The case is if you loved me--1 this is the only time I have heard from you and it is because you NEED something from me--2 You would not use guilt to get what you want from me--3 I have known he is getting out and why he is restricted to TX.
I am not a child and don't expect or accept to be talked to by my YOUNGER cousin as if I was a child. I know your mom has not told you about me cause I talk to her almost daily. So, you also have lied to me to make things even better.
The fact that he has no where to go isn't my problem and he has not shown me anything to prove that he has changed or even sorry for what he has done--something he has admitted to doing. I have a 3yr old little girl who lives in the same house as I do, and wouldn't let him stay even if I could.
I understand he is your brother and you love him, but he is Heather's brother too, and he has damaged her for the rest of her life!!!!!!!!!!
I am sure there are shelter programs he can look into, and if it will only be a couple months for him to get his own place than that shouldn't be a prob for him. I honestly don't think he will be gunho about getting a job right when he gets out. I think he will want to go out and play for a while since he has been locked up for this long.
If you truely love me, then you will keep in touch no matter what my stand on this is. I love you unconditionally and my other cousins as well, but this doesn't mean I like them all. I would never ask you to do something for me if you loved me and I don't want you to ask me something with that stipulation. You need to be adult about this and not run behind people's backs, cause in the end, you will be the fool. By the way, your mom isn't as dumb as you think--just take my word for it.
Have you told your mom you are coming to visit??? Oh, I just got off the phone with Charice--don't even bother asking her. The answer will be no.
