  JW Youth killed in car accident in Ohio

  this story made me cringe.

  my daughters boyfriend (who is no longer in) and her came over sunday to tell me the news of a young boy we knew from a previous hall we attended.

  he was about 19 or 20 years old.. my daughter said that his dad had just recently kicked him out of the house because they felt he was going against jehovahs will.

  My daughter said that his dad had just recently kicked him out of the house because they felt he was going against Jehovahs will. I dont know the details as to what he was doing, but he was put out.

  She said one of the things was he was missing meeting because of his job. Well he was found dead in his car early Sunday morning, he had fallen asleep behind the wheel on his way home from work that night.

  Now they say his father is feeling all this guilt about making him move out. It just makes me sick to hear things like this. Such a young man, he had his whole life ahead of him.

  And I can hear the talk now, how if he would have been serving Jah, this probably wouldnt have happened.

  Just wanted to share this, it made me really sad, he was a really good kid.

  Having a hard time posting .....

  in the last few months, i have had quite a bit of big deal jw related shi* go down in my personal life.

  i have started to post about it several times, but each time i start i can't seem to find the words.

  i want desperately to reach out to folks that i know would understand, but i just freeze up.

  i just heard this song today on the radio coming home from work.

  i remember when it first came out a couple of years ago and i couldn't listen to it.

  it was for me one of those songs that made me wonder why i couldn't have a love like that.

  Oh how good it feels!!!!!

  I remember when i met my hubby. I was upstairs in my appartment, and my friends boyfriend brought this guy by with him. I heard his voice, and thought who in the world is this. But his voice went completely through me, i swear. And when I walked down stairs, I swear I am not kidding, this thought went through my head, this is going to be your life time soul mate. I said to my self, yeah, whatever. Never gave it another thought.

  He asked me out that day, and we went out, (oh god I hate to admit it), and spent the night together.

  The next morning he said "will you marry me"? He was only kidding at the time, but here we are 11 years later, and love each other more than ever before!

  Good luck, and I hope things work out well for you 2.

  i remember thinking before i learned about it, that i knew all the horrors of this event already.

  after all, it had been mentioned on many programs.

  I can honestly say, I read this 3 times. I really didnt realize how much anger and resentment can just eat you up inside. Sometimes we get so carried away in self pitty, that we cant even see the small things in front of us that can truely make us happy. All I can say is thank you for the post, it was really helpful to me.

  And I say that it is the jw's that attack and name call when someone doesnt conform to their beliefs. Like you have just done in your statement that we are evil and apostates. And again as I stated before, if you RELLY BELIEVED in your faith and your god, then you know that you would not even be posting on this board, because your brothers would tell you to "leave it in Jehovah's hands, and let him take care of it. So why is it that you are waisting your time here? Gettin extra field service hours? I have done my homework, and have seen for myself the false teachings and chose not to attend any more, but that does not make me an evil person. You are the one doing the attacking.

  I think what you need to do is go pull out some of your old magazines and look up some information on bad association, because you know you are not suppose to be associating with us bad associations.

  All I can say is HOW DARE YOU??? Just because you have never been through anything this tragic doesnt mean it doesnt exist. You are probably one of the jw elders who would tell the family member to be quiet and not tell or they would be the one in trouble. And do you think just because 15 years went by before someone told that the person it happened to has actually forgotten what happend to them. Give me a break. Go sit back in the kh and learn some more of your so called love for the TRUF.
