Always have been, even when a card carrying member of the WTS. Imanaliento plans on having me toasted to ash (hopefully after I've departed) so I figured someone should get to use any spare parts that might fit...

Me thinks its the foreign infatuation thingie....At work there's a lady from Australia. When I had to work with her over the phone I was so taken by the accent. But, I was so crushed when I met her in person (200+lbs - don't know what that is in "stones", 5ft 2in - and looked like she'd been hit by a Mac Truck - truck lost). Not that I'm saying all American women who sound great may be less than perfect...just my experience going the other way.

Spanish Navy intercepts 12 scuds
by freeman injust heard on the news the spanish navy got a tip from us intelligence and with that info seized a north koran ship loaded with 12 scud missiles on its way to yemen, with a final destination of iraq or iran.
look like bush called it correctly, an axis of evil indeed.. .

It appears the Bush war machine has some explaining for all of us:
http://www.msnbc.com/news/845880.asp?vts=121120020710
Appears the Yemeni govt claims the missles are theirs.... now the question is, does the U.S. have international rights to seize them? One world government, bully, protector of freedom???? you tell me...

Yes, PICTURES! I really want a snow day off from work soon..(starting to sound like my school-age boys). Hot chocolate, apple cider, snow ball fights, and making snow angels (we can do that now, can't we???)...
Maybe we need to practice a version of the Australian Rain Dance....

Sometimes...but not as the only guide for my life, now. I find myself picking it up and randomly opening to any page, read a verse or two and then let my mind carry me forward. I also do that with a dictionary, especially when I can't seem to think through some problem or situation. I have left the debate about it or any other religious writing being inspired to those who think they can change a person's opinion...not for me anymore!

If someone were to pay attention to religion......
by Jesika inas much as politics what would we find??????????????????????????????
?

I think most of the population does pay attention to politics at the same level as religion (very little). I personally believe, even though politics is in the news every day, the media only gives you a surface view. The deep digging happens occasionally, sex scandals, pay-offs, money wasting, but overall, all we see or look at is the "tip of the iceberg". For example, in the U.S., what is the Congress doing about a failing Social Security system? Don't know...but we all know that Bush is planning a war against Iraq. People pay attention to what the news media directs them to, its easier that way. MTCW!

The Ring of a 1,000 Hammers striking 1,000 Anvils
by OUTLAW inthe ring a of a thousand hammers striking a thousand anvils..poeing,poeing,poeing..thats the sound of 30 miles of lake freezing over..it has driven the dogs out of their doggy minds(lol)..the ringing kept up for a full week, now it is dead quite.i am told now,the ice will start to shift as it grows, and there will be thunderous cracks to be heard as it happens.a nature film is happening right in front of my window..it will be interesting to watch animals weighing hundreds, sometimes near two thousand pounds cross a frozen lake...outlaw

And you still don't have the camera?!?!?!?!? Your word picture brings back memories of sitting on the edge of Rainy Lake in northen Minnesota, hearing the same kinds of sound, and the dogs and the wolves chime in with the barking and howling. Great times, peaceful times, and didn't need anyone to remind me of God...
OK, we all need to send Outlaw a disposable 35mm camera a week, he takes the pictures, sends it back and we develop them and post them! Cough up your address...oh wait, do you get mail after the lake freezes and the roads get snowed in? I want pictures, and I'm sure I'm not alone!

COOKIES and more cookies, and more cookies! My mom used to bake hundreds of them, then trade with neighbors, so we always got the widest variety. My favorite were called Mexican Wedding Cakes and next was the special peanut-butter cookies w/ chocolate, but alas my newly discovered allergy to peanuts will rule them out...damn those witlesses - 12 years without them and now the craving starts!
