i had just got home after running some errands when i noticed 2 sisters at my door.
i got out of my car and asked if i could help them.

I also think they have been parroted to say that , that is old news. I still can't get over how callous they are as to the number of abuse victims there are. Roaving Lion, oh yeah, thats exactly who they are. with a veil over their face ,off they go.

I for myself and family have never experienced the abuse. but from watching date-line and coming here and hearing various stories I find that most if not all are true. I can feel their pain and the emotion that they write and have actually cried for several of them. just think of the children who have no voice.
reading Ray Franz, Crisis of Conscience and Search of Christian Freedom gave us an insight as to goes on on the higher levels opened our eyes. We also have the pleasure of meeting a few on this board some who were at Bethel and all the politics that go on there, they have left and the shunning that goes on in their family is heart wretching. glad to say we DA'd last Aug.

having visited dozens of kh's over the years, i can indeed confirm that they all have the same smell about them imho.. it's not very nice either, perhaps even a little sinister is the odour that emanates from most of them.. i wonder what it is that get's up my nose so?.

I never noticed they had a smell, if they do it was always covered up by all the different perfumes or colognes people were wearing. And some of those were pretty potent.

they were all unique in how they applied the talmud watchtower law.
i explained that to myself as diferent congs have diferent personalities but as i saw more and more "bad stuff" can to understand there was no "god" in "gods organisation" .
we were in one in North Dakota for 4 years and then Nebraska for 8, with age comes wisdom. we're OUT
how do you feel, now that you are out of the jw's?.
does the watchtower society want to make it feel worse than it actually is?
would you say that the scare of being df'd was worse than the real thing?.

We both DA"d and it feels great, our boys can have more of a social life and the 15 year old is thrilled that he doesn't have to settle on what few girls there were at the hall for dating.
being no other family was in it was wonderful to celebrate the holidays with them and talk about things that i normally would of had to bite my tongue on.
