My parents aren't Jehovah's Witnesses, but i chose to be one. Im thirteen and Im going to go to the Duke University. ill still attend the KH and go out in the ministry, but Im still going to college. As long as i keep God on my mind and in my heart, I can get as high an education as i want.

Genuine repentance - if you can fake that you'll avoid getting disfellowshipped
by slimboyfat into paraphrase a well known saying.
is it true, in a judicial committee, if you can fake repentance, then they are likely to let you off being disfellowshipped, almost regardless of the "severity" of the sin involved?
can former elders and perhaps victims of the process shed light on the matter?

That's ridiculous! I'm a Jehovah's Witness, not a slave. The WatchTower association is not our "leader" I don't even know where that came from. No one is in charge of us. We view Jehovah as our God who, through his holy spirit, gives information to the GOVERNING BODY, who then has that information sent to the watchtower association and they send it to the congregations throught the world by way of the elders. No slaves, no leaders, just a well organized religious orginization.
