I sent it on Wednesday. It's Saturday so it had to arrive. Anyway, I'm not trying to deal with the guilt-tripping and all of that. I'm just annoyed that I have to deal with all of this.

Just Sent in My DA Letter!
by Thoughtless inhey, this thread is nothing new so i don't wanna get too personal but i'm happy to announce that i am apart of the 33% club!!
i sent in my da letter this past wednesday (again actually, i sent it in the week before but i got hit with the old 'return to sender') and i sent the letter up to the hq instead.
i did courteously mark it as re: disassociation for whatever lackey got it, but i did request in the letter not be contacted.

I told them that I didn't wish to be contacted. I don't want to see them or even talk to them, but they will still contact me face to face? That's going to send my anxiety through the roof -

I did courteously mark it as RE: Disassociation for whatever lackey got it, but I did request in the letter NOT be contacted. I've decided to follow the path of Social Justice and I don't wanna deal with anybody because my mind is set.
My question is, Do you think that they will respect that? Will I get a letter or a receipt from HQ? I don't want any drama or excess, I just wanna live.
Also, do you have any tips on how to cope post-DA? I'm a broke college student but I do feel sorta free but I can't help but to deal with the anxiety of being contacted by old mentors and what not. I know that this isn't supposed to be easy but whatever lol.

i met with my elders and told them i could not justify carrying on as a jw.
i went and got my high school qualifications and my higher education diploma (a levels with distinction) in just 12 months.

by BU2B init seems like at least once a month he is brought up as a good example in the study wt.

I personally don't care how the WT interprets David. I think he is one of the most dynamic characters in the Bible, in terms of complexity. I find him very interesting.

Yes, still am. I don't tell anyone but the closest of friends, and I only talk against my religion with the people I am tightest with. I don't need people talking to each other about my religion and it getting back to me in the Hall. I keep the circle of friends as tight as possible so that no one can get around and talk and stuff. I hope that the embarrassment can fade when I get older and when I have the strength to leave, but until then, it is whatever.

by confusedandalone inso i grew up in new jersey in a very urban part of the state.
i literally only saw white folks if they were in a police car or if i went to the assembly.
the funny thing is at the assembly there was still a level of segregation as well although it was self-imposed.

by Cold Steel induring a disciplinary procedure, what would the response be if you wanted representation?
an advocate?.
why don't they have a group of unbiased men, a prosecutor to present the case against you and an advocate that would represent the accused?
